What airflow setting do you use for your Zenith? On my Zlides, I do 1.6 coils on the 1st setting. The .8 coils I normally use the 2nd or 3rd.
Wide open, 1.6 or .8 coil. Zenith and 4 ml zlide that’s just barely in the “open enough” zone. 22 mm zlide is on the tight end, but it’s only on a little pocket carry with higher nic juice. I think because I dl draw on mtl af, it has to be on the airier end to work for me.

I didn't realise the Zenith and Zlides had different airflow. Is the Zlide much airier?
It’s a marginal difference to me, but the 24mm/4ml zlide is slightly more open than the og zenith. I’m in the process of replacing my zeniths with the larger zlides because of that.

Wow! That's advanced. I have no idea how it works, but looks interesting. Alas, I'm afraid that we're running out of time for innovations.

@charlie1465 . don't you miss adjustable external AFC in your Dwarves? Somehow, I can't even imagine an RTA without it.
No I don't miss it because the airflow just suits me perfectly....less moving parts is a positive thing....less to accidentally misalign.

It's part of the attraction for the Dvarw it's simplicity :)

Has anyone had any experience with this.....??

Sorry, Charlie. Zero experience, never owned one. I wish I could help. Did you try a forum search? Maybe there are threads somewhere with tips?

I went over it in more detail in this thread - if money isn't a problem, go for the Ulton version:

they say (you know these shiny ppl aka enablers) you can MTL anything, well I have discovered I can RDL to DL anything including any MTL set up  :D.

    There's only been 1 atty I couldn't MTL :shock:It was a Voopoo Maat tank I won, and did a review on ;)

    Good morning shinies

Thought I might try and build my Skyline RTA clone today which is a really well made piece of kit. There are some minor differences in the air hole design but nothing which should make much difference.

I watched Mark Todd's build video and wicking seems really simple. He had been putting a bit of cotton in to fill the gap in the deck opposite the two posts and coil but in the video he decided to leave it out.

Has anyone had any experience with this.....?? Mines the DL version and I don't want any leaks if I can help it, obviously.

Before watching the video I was thinking of leaving long tails to lay in there but Mark was right to just touch the bottom of the deck out of the end of each coil as the coil ends are right opposite the juice fill holes. The OG was an 175 Euro RTA when it came out and is supposed to have as good a flavour as the Dvarw, Hussar, Kayfun etc so I don't want to get this wrong

    Any help much appreciated??

    :wub::wub::wub:

I've been looking at that RTA over the past few days. There's some wicking/build advice in these threads on the FT product forum:

Happy Friday, shinies <3 Been a minute since I got all excited over some new shiny but the new Heavy Hitter mod collab between Stan and Heavy finally dropped on Stan's site today.

So, I ordered a black on copper. Looks like a pretty sweet mech for under 80 bucks.

He had 24 of the black ones available when I ordered mine but they're probably going to go pretty fast.

Got the ship notice for my preorder yesterday, of course usps has not updated.

Hopefully TX to NC will be quick.

Once i heard andrew had a hand in the design i jumped on it! Not to mention there was a decent discount on the preorder.

I also ordered black and hope it will be here first of the week.

Watched Andrews intro vid and it confirmed my desire for one.
Now to figure out what i will top it with.......

Having the 25mm and 28mm caps should make the decision easier. Also, I think I need an Ardent now so I can rock that hybrid action. Looking forward to it for sure.

Don't miss it at all on my Dvarw's. Once you have the AF insert you like installed you don't need an adjustable AFC. It's set and forget with a Dvarw. Kind of like the KFL of old and the new KFL19. :D

Now I am kind of wishing I had grabbed some Dvarw tanks. Maybe I will still grab some down the line.

The Dvarw's are fantastic flavor RTA's and IMO really easy to build on and maintain. For me they are equal to my Kayfun's (and a few others) for flavor.

You take your eggs out RIGHT to LEFT.
Makes sense, I guess, if you're right handed. I'm a lefty, so they get taken out left to right. Most of my left handed ways of doing things drove my wife up the wall. You right handers are, well...., just different. :D
