I saw a Billy Idol gig not long before Covid hit. Never been a huge fan - a friend took us along for a summer night out. Was at a classic indoor Sydney rock venue called the Hordern Pavillion which has a capacity of about 5,000 and has a wonderful open feel. It's old school - you can move around, dance, go to the bar and back or book seats if that's your thing. We spent most of the time within 20 feet of the stage.

Anyway if any of you ever get a chance to see Billy Idol don't miss it. What a great gig! Billy had the energy of a 20 yo (he's 64), he sang the entire night note perfect with never a hint of taking himself too seriously. Steve Stevens was incredible on guitar and the rest of the band were top shelf.
This was the last gig of a world tour so the whole crew were honed to perfection. The foh sound was flawless and the lighting/staging interesting and classy.

One of the best rock gigs I've ever been to.

Ok y'all, think I've got this handled now. It was the DT!!! It needed to be white

  Been trying to tell you... ;)

Seriously now. I put my little Dvarw with a white drip tip on my all black Pico and I had to change the drip tip to black for better balance. And then I realized that getting a white Pico would work, too.

When they were getting ready to do the Unplugged concert Billy and Steve came to our town for one show in a 1920's movie theater that was converted into a small concert hall. The tickets were $10 each and my wife and I ended standing right in front of them at the velvet rope, about six feet away. It was incredible, with Steve Stevens on fire. He even did a flamenco number, which is where he started out.

Best show I've ever seen, just the two of them on stage for two hours without a break.

I can't seem to get away from this thread.

;)
So I purchased 129 occ coils for a stash I'm compiling.

Horizontal or vertical? Those horizontal OCCs were good and they are relatively easy to rewick and even rebuild. But then Kanger went nuts with their STM coils, switched to verticals, added a dozen different kinds.

Funny thing is they come with 2 Kanger tanks. A Mini and Priyanka 4 I think.

Haven't used a tank since I started vaping. These things worth holding on to?

Absolutely--if you don't mind MTL. Very versatile tank, comes with an RBA coil (easy to build on), and works with all kinds of coils--I like mine with old Aspire BVC (non-Nautilus) coils for a perfect MTL vape. :)

Mel has offered as well... I just figured for the prices it's really not that much more than DIY all things considered...

So for now it just depends on how surgery goes, If I end up not being able to make more in a couple months then I'll reach out... but I'm hoping I should be able to do it by then...

I'm pretty sure they'll tell you to stay off nic. So listen to your doctors. :D

Don't forget about all the "Virus is a hoax" folks living on Earth 2
Very thankfully there are NOT any of those around my area. Those types steer very clear of the mid/inner city. Let them have this Earth. I will gladly take E2.

My vision of Earth 2 is a much cleaner, no global warming, zero pollyTiks, no greed, no warring factions and populated with folks who love and respect each other. Abundance for All. Oh yeah, it also has all the animals E1 types have killed off. It's balanced! :D

No wonder everyone looks at me funny in my white t-shirts in the fall and winter.

That's ok, I've been a walking talking fashion faux poo my whole life. Screw the fashion police too! What do they know anyways.
I have a couple VaporFlask lite's, silver and black.

I didn't think of that. So, I'll have to try some. I have plenty of white DT's. Teflon mostly, they have an almost silky feel on the lips. Super comfy.

I'm feeling better now.

Come on Woman.... move those fingers! :D

Finally, some official rules from Marie Claire! Good find Man. :thumb:
.............................................who is she?

Y'all made me feel better about my dorky white Pico dilemma. :w00t:

I actually think the white pico and the SS atty looks very classy.

it looks better than my white colossal with SS.

The Fox Theatre?

We saw Bruce Springsteen there during his Devils & Dust solo tour in 2005. Awesome show and a fine venue. Nice acoustics too.

  1. I'm pretty sure they'll tell you to stay off nic. So listen to your doctorsy. :D

They already have because nicotine is a vasoconstrictor, and will hinder the bones knitting together and healing properly...

Ill be on 0 nic for at least 3 months if not 6 (6 is preferred), after surgery...

He said vaping is fine, just not the nicotine... So ill be vaping my zero nicotine ejuice, but he's said I didnt have to stop before the surgery, just after to assist in the healing process since we are dealing with bones. :)

All my after surgery ejuice is zero nic! :)

Yes. I hyperfocus on almost everything, to Nth degree. Details. Colors, absolutely. I know you noticed the shades of white being off between the DT and the Pico! No real life Photoshop for that. I tried all my white DT's and that one is the best match. Pretty sure once I use that Pico more it's white will become less bright.

My mother was like yours. Our living and dining rooms were like pictures from better homes and gardens magazine. We could not use either room unless there was company coming over. And so much junk with all the nik-naks and crap. And every single one had it's perfect position. Just yuck. When I was a kid I used to move nik-naks around just for fun. Freaked her out. lol

My wife wasn't like that, thank heavens. She was an organizational freak with everything, but in the good way. Me? As long as stuff looks ok, and neat, I'm good. I've been on a kick with reducing things. It is amazing how much junk we accumulate over our lives. Just give me the basics and I'm happy. :D

ive been “purging” my home/garage for the past year. I do it every 3-4 months where I go through different rooms and bag up stuff for goodwill or that just needs tossing. Also a area of To Sell items but I never seem to actually place an ad lol!

I love having less “stuff” and I still have lots more to go. I try to think like -if I was moving to a smaller house/condo- what would I want/ need to bring. There’s A LOT in the not needed or wanted list.

If course none of this includes my large vape equipment although as I mentioned previously I have quite a few mods/tanks etc that I’ve either never used or don’t fit my vaping style. I’ll end up pif’ing a lot and hopefully selling some as well. But it’s hard to sell stuff now with so many people out of work and everything is so uncertain.

Vanilin, cinnamaldehyde, eugenol (clove), and unfortunately menthols and mints, possibly, are on the no-no list. And diketones.
