Dvarw mtl fl came in today, leaked like a sieve on two attempts at wicking [emoji3]

Tomorrow I'll go back to the bottom fill setup, just in case there's s anything wonky with the top fill add-on. Gotta take another look at the wicking methods, try a different one.

(I'm rusty on tank wicking, since lately I've been doing trivial squonk RDTAs with rayon.)
Doesn't the top fill have jfc? Maybe it wasn't closed when you filled.

Good afternoon shinies

What an excellent start right out of the gate. This is right up there with the big boys like @bigbob2322. Keep up the great work lady. I'll be looking forward to some more of your reviews. :thumb:

My first review was a video review for an LED flashlight 11 years ago, and I was a nervous wreck. View attachment 905247

I've done several of them over the years for this company. Don't know if I've gotten any better, but I'm not so nervous anymore. View attachment 905251

Thanks Rob. Your was good, if I were doing a video on I will be a wreck  so hat off to you :)

That's the key thing that I missed - this lacks a JFC. It consists of a screw off top fill cap, a chimney ending in the female threads for the top cap, and a tank - there's no jfc piece [emoji3]

Maybe I should mention that in a review for the part on FT? [emoji16]

(It didn't ring a bell, why it was so low cost. Ahh, well, it can be thought of as an extra 5ml tank setup [emoji106])

CORRECTION - This can't even be used as a bottom fill, as the top section and chimney do not form a liquid tight seal to the plastic tank.

Mel has offered as well... I just figured for the prices it's really not that much more than DIY all things considered...

So for now it just depends on how surgery goes, If I end up not being able to make more in a couple months then I'll reach out... but I'm hoping I should be able to do it by then...
Willing yes, able is a whole ‘nother ball of wax . Kidding aside, you know I will. Even have a bit of MF! Or an excuse to add more. I’m crazy about the MF flavors I’ve tested. The plum is insanely good. Your hubs I know I can mix for, with our shared love of super minty ;)

They already have because nicotine is a vasoconstrictor, and will hinder the bones knitting together and healing properly...

Ill be on 0 nic for at least 3 months if not 6 (6 is preferred), after surgery...

He said vaping is fine, just not the nicotine... So ill be vaping my zero nicotine ejuice, but he's said I didnt have to stop before the surgery, just after to assist in the healing process since we are dealing with bones. :)

All my after surgery ejuice is zero nic! :)
Man, that makes you a cheap date! I can just mix the flavor shots and you can dump them in your nic-less base. Good excuse to use up the billion 5ml bottles I bought for the sfts I never seem to get around to

They have a lot of very cool "stuff" there. Had to leave, quick! My wallet was screaming "leave now". But not before I bought their tungsten carbide scissors. I was chatting with an employee there and she laughed when I asked if their blades were "SHARP" sharp. She said they will take them back if I don't like them. Didn't need another pair of scissors but I am a freak for the ultra sharp ones. :D

ETA: She suggested the razor or tungsten carbide scissors for cotton and rayon.
Well, crap. I just realized they have stuff for the doggo too. Himself’s in trouble now, or at least his wallet is

I have the plum coming in as well as a couple others. Lemon is the bomb, fingers crossed the others are as well.

Evening all!

Just ordered a DL FL verson of the SXK Dvarw clone from FT.
Like Ange (in reverse) I'll be interested to check out the differences between it and the DL V3. I know the spec differences but will it vape better? I've never had an RTA that worked as well the V3. Never leaks, never dry hits, great flavour and easy building.

I am looking forward to the bigger clamps on the FL but not sure I like the idea of a PEEK chimney. I'm not convinced that any type of plastic is as good as SS so close to coils with long term exposure to heat

ive been “purging” my home/garage for the past year. I do it every 3-4 months where I go through different rooms and bag up stuff for goodwill or that just needs tossing. Also a area of To Sell items but I never seem to actually place an ad lol!

I love having less “stuff” and I still have lots more to go. I try to think like -if I was moving to a smaller house/condo- what would I want/ need to bring. There’s A LOT in the not needed or wanted list.

If course none of this includes my large vape equipment although as I mentioned previously I have quite a few mods/tanks etc that I’ve either never used or don’t fit my vaping style. I’ll end up pif’ing a lot and hopefully selling some as well. But it’s hard to sell stuff now with so many people out of work and everything is so uncertain.
I purged so much before I moved back home to California. Then purged some more. Now I think wisely before I buy, especially the nick knack type of stuff. Of course after all the moving I cannot ever find simple things (like a dustpan) so I just go buy another rather then drive myself crazy. Purging is good and once you start it is hard to stop. One key though, the stuff has to go OUT, no holding on for (whatever, a friend or to sell later) has to be gone in order to feel like you are lightening your load

Most of us here have been in your big shoes and understand. I went through it with my Dad recently. Anytime you need to vent or just need a laugh, you know where to find us all

Thanks a bunch buddy.
Yeah some days are harder than others, just gotta take it as it comes.

Couple of things i just remembered:

1) Remember reading someone talking about Manta RTA and that they couldn't find any.
Plenty here in Spain (just checked, they got the V2 not sure about the other)
Anyway if someone knows who it is or if said person reads this please let me know.

2) Need to get a new battery charger, everyone says thos Nitecore are good.
Just need one with 2 battery slots, but i have seen several different models.
Don't need anything fancy, anyone got recommendation?

Well i'm off to take a siesta.
Left at 7am this morning and just got home like 40 minutes ago.
Made my pops some lunch and put him to bed and now im in dire need of some siesta time hehe

Talk to you later.

what are the MF flavors?
Medicine Flower. Super ultras with a steep price. With most of their line 1-2 drops per 15-30ml is enough. RS has quite a few 1/2 price; good thread of reviews on elr if you want to take a peek.
