Morning shinies ;)

I do not need another Mixx. I do not need another Mixx. I do not need another Mixx. I do not need another Mixx. I do not need another Mixx. I do not need another Mixx. I do not need another Mixx. I do not need another Mixx. I do not need another Mixx. I do not need another Mixx

Sold! I have no equine knowledge at all, I'll deal with the sheep - you the donkeys

I’m picking out names for the donkeys now.

And I’m jealous, because you actually COULD! But, poor Gemma would be jealous. Can’t have that.

She would love having new animals to boss around

Gemma, previously a pet lamb for those who have no idea, is the absolute boss of this farm ;) She can sense an open gate (usually my blonde sis being blonder) and leads every other sheep through it

My BIL still calls her Gemma, but he adds in her last name a few times a day. You often hear "Gemma :censored:off, out of the way, I'm trying to :censored: work!". Gemma happily then wanders off, knowing her job is done :D

    Hello everybody!

It’s here, finally and I love it! The fire bar is perfect, not too stiff, not too mushy. Came with the stack, in case I wanna build up my biceps.

While you're choosing donkey names... explain to me how much throw there is in fire bar mechs. The dotsquonk button to me is a mushy button - the Armageddon sq mod button is a bit stiffer, but still OK to use. With hand arthritis I'm looking for mushy mech fire bars.

It’s more stiff than any button fire mods I can think of, but nowhere near as stiff as any bottom fire mechs. It’s not as stiff as my Seige - that’s pretty tough to push. ( and partly, because the Seige’s bar sits flush while the Lykan sticks out nicely) If you can unscrew the cap off a bottle of water, you can handle this.

Before Mixx no. 4 gets here tomorrow and I put back on my rose-tinted glasses... ;)

I've had 2 months of using Aspire Mixxes daily now. And it's obvious how much I like them. But I'm gonna try to be impartial.

    Down sides:

    -Limited to attys under 24.5mm

-Airflow holes can get blocked by your fingers, or end up blocked by the battery tube. Using a 22mm Mod Guard KP Mod Guard 5 Pack- Various Sizes or something similar can work around that.

-Weight. It's a block of aluminium. With a battery and a 6ml Dvarw DL it is 258g. A Colossal with a 6ml Dvarw DL is 242g. A VV Pulse v2 with an Axial RDA and a 21700 battery is 217g

-No TC mode. The chip is limited to wattage, voltage and bypass modes.

-Button. Firing a mod with your index, middle or ring finger may feel wrong to some people.

    Good sides:

-Ergonomic. Once you figure out your way of firing the button, it's extremely comfy to hold and use

-Chip. Battery life is impressive, especially using it in stealth mode (click fire 3x). It fires near instantly.

-Looks. This is completely subjective, but I love the look of it.

-SBS. As it's a side by side mod, you can use a tall tank and have a very low profile setup. A Dvarw on a Mixx has the same hand feel for me as an Axial RDA on a Pumper 18

Looking forward to what you think of it  Did they tweak the DL version so you can rewick with a full tank?
No unfortunately you have to vape it empty or drain to get to the deck. Put a 3mm 6 wrap ss tri core. Will install a 2.5 tomorrow. I'm liking the 3.5mm af insert but the coil is restricting a tad too much. Think the height is good, just need a little more air around the coil and wick feels too thick if that makes sense. Perfect for the coil but not the deck.

Every time I see your mixx family I wish I liked short setups. They really are quite lovely.

Yeah I can understand. It's back on the wish list, I love the look of that clear PC tank.

I've just recovered from an agressive lymphoma and I know for sure that if you've caught your colon cancer early there's almost a one hundred percent chance that you'll be fine.

I'm reading a very good book based on scientific evidence at the moment which talks about diet and how it can help with cancer. Here's an Amazon link in case you're interested......

Sorry to hear and best wishes buddy.

    Happy vaping too :)

Thanks for the kind words buddy.

Yeah the specialist gave me high hopes, guess I'm lucky we got it early.

Had to go to social services today, had a chat with the lady there just to see if there was any sort of help in case i got bad reaction from the radiotherapy.

Mom went thru it and so did my pops so I'm pretty well versed in the matter but some people are more affected then others.
So i just wanted to make sure that in case it hits me hard that social services could send someone home in case i need help with something if I'm not feeling good.

On the bright side I'm getting my radiotherapy at the same place my pops went, there was this nurse there that i kinda liked.
So this will be a chance to put my Caribbean green colored eyes to work and see if i can get a date :D:D

She did ask my pops for my number when he was going there so i think there might be a chance, who knows...karma and destiny act in weird ways doesn't it?

How is your recovery going buddy, you taking good care of yourself?

Yes recovery is slow but gradually improving week by week. I had chemo with mine and Jesus it made me sick but I've know idea if radio does the same. I do know that they're better at targeting specific areas so that it reduces collateral damage. These things aren't nice but the alternative doesn't bear thinking about.

Glad you've got someone you like to talk to if you need it as it's tough sometimes. I don't know what I would have done without my wife..... she's been a complete angel.

You know where I am if you need to pm and good luck with the radio :)

Yes it is and there's no quackery going on. My Mum sent it to me and it's a brilliant book which makes a lot of sense.

I should have sent it to you really but glad you're going to have a look at it. A lot of the research was done in the state's so you'll feel at home with it.

    Sending hugs as always
