Got my Apocalypse yesterday. I don’t know how, but I had the Ardent good and stuck on my mod. Took me half an hour (not counting 20 minutes in the freezer) to get It unstuck.

I do love this mod. The embossed tube rotates, so the fire bar cannot connect. No accidental firing if I want to bring it out.

The atty is nice - I wouldn’t have paid $50 for it, but it’s nice. It’s really stiff now, but I think I’ll really like it once it breaks in a bit.

Looks superb. How low do you like to build for your mechs ?

I like to stay away from extreme coils, so I used 28/2x40 fused Claptons in Ss316 coming in at .3. I could have made the legs a bit longer, because I had to pull them way up to get them in the air holes. Still, a really nice vape.

Supposedly this has a very low voltage drop. I’ve never paid any attention to that before, but it does seem to fire better than most. The AF does not want to adjust at all - I’ve had others like that, that after some use would loosen up. If this does the same, I may change my tune about it not being something I’d spend $50 on.

I like Li ion wholesale or 18650 shop. I think all the batteries fit tight though.

Do watch some YouTube for menu info. It’s quite easy once you get the hang of it, but it’s easy to miss some features. Asmodus menus are the only ones that feel second-nature to me but I still look up the videos from time to time. I do forget if I haven’t played with them in a while.

Thank you, I will take your advice! Will try to remember to order some today,

I purchase my batteries from Liion but I hear 18650 Battery warehouse is good too. I haven't tried looking for the best fit, because I go for the best battery. I use the Sony either the pink, the green, or, the brown. I don't know how well these fit in the Colossal though.

Thank you! I guess I am understanding they all fit tightly.

Says for returning customers but try it if havent bought before.....

Thanks! I will try that today!

And @Territoo, I have quite a few Colossal's and all 18650's fit tightly at first. Over time they still fit snugly but not as tight as new.

That ^^^^^^ is what I do and it works great for me.

Some folks who don't follow that method have chewed up a few battery wraps. Classy comes to mind.

Alternatively...

I'm using Molicel P26A, Samsung 25R, LG HG2 and Sony/Murata VTC5D batteries in mine.

    Good afternoon Folks !!! :)

My wish is for a pleasant day for everyone.
And of course, full of great vapes!

Welcome back, SMT. Good dog Carli! :D
Thanks. I hope you are doing well out in SoCal.

Thank you Charlie. And I hope you are doing well too.

I haven’t been to Lake Michigan in eons... it was chilly, but so beautiful. I’m about 15-20 from Lake Erie. It was clearing up for a while, now with funding cut for the last several years, our beach is closed and it’s looking like a toilet again. So sad.
That's a bummer. Perhaps they will reinstate funding to keep Lake Erie and its beaches clean again. Over here they do maintain our beaches nicely. Especially up north where the beaches and waters of lakes Michigan and Superior are mostly pristine. :)

Eight Vape is charging me $2.55 for "route package protection" is this new?

Asmodus have had the route protection for quite a while now but there one is an optional extra with your order. I'm not sure if other companies have it or not.
It may come in handy if you have shipping troubles or problems with your package on arrival. It's very easy to make a quick claim and get a refund or another order sent out. You deal with the route insurance company not the vape company, much easier:)
