I missed a few days. I caught a bug that started in my nose, went down to my chest and got stuck in my throat and lead to a painfull weekend of coughing.
Some home made remedies and aspirin, paracetamol and cough syrup help a bit.
I feel much better now I couldn't even vape so I took a 100ml bottle and just added mint and apple concentrate shook it up and I'm vaping it.

Got 1 of my Ares 2 built and running today, really like this new look to the Ares 2, easy to build and good flavor :)

I watched a vide and now see the EXOCET method. I did not use that. My chimney and top cap do not come apart. It is all one piece. I guess I can pull the wicking out through the holes with a tweezer but wondering if anyone does it differently?
This is the problem with buying the stuff late after everyone has discussed it. I do not pay attention to all your talk when I do not have the device and now I am late to the party.
I did rewick it and tucked the tails of the wick under and it is not leaking now but I would not leave it like this and not have a watchful on it

    Finally

You have really good patience. :thumb: I remember when you ordered it.

The 510 squonk pin is reverse threaded (see the instructions) so you will have to muck about with that and whatever RDA you choose. Clockwise raises it and CCW lowers it.

Hope you like it! Using mine as I write this.

You might want to try either the Bunny Ear or Bludger wicking method first. Those are the easiest and quickest to get you up and vaping. They will provide the same great vape and flavor.

Your top cap will come apart from the chimney. All you need to do is stick your finger up through the bottom of the chimney piece and the top cap will pop off.

    Chimney w/top cap ^^^^..................Top cap ^^^^.

You can also use a screwdriver to remove the top cap. Stick it in the top cap hole and use it like a lever to pop it off.

Once you get them apart all three o-rings should be lubed up with VG or juice. That will make it easier to install and remove them going forward. Same with the o-ring on the deck.

I got "we cannot guard" out of that.

    What translator are you using?

My universal translator must have popped a capacitor or it needs fresh 21700's.

I got "We cannot do it?"
    Maybe Zaz is plotting something
It was every drunk's lament when in maudlin cups: "Can't we all just get along?"

Now I really want to know what Klingon translators you and @Pigs are using. :D

I looked at a few and like I said earlier each translated differently. Don't think they have Klingon down yet.

That'd be right. Squonk Geek of the South Island

Everything I've seen so far point to the Requiem RDA being a goodie. Especially how it gives you 3 different caps for MTL, RDL, and DL. Shone's review covers it really well:

It does have a tiny well though, and my Axials have spoilt me a tad in that area

He really needs to change his name to VapingEMT

As a dvarw newbie I found the Bludger wick the easiest.
My first attempt was an Exocet wick, which worked well, but that was beginners luck more than anything. I tried the BunnyEars next, but found it tricky to prime my wick while it was all in place in the chamber.

With the Bludger wick, you prime your wick thoroughly and then put on the chamber. After that, it's just a matter of positioning your wicks to cover the wicking holes.

With the Dvarw DL especially, the Exocet wick became quick and easy after a few attempts. And it works the best for how I vape.
