Hey folks, sorry for the absence of me posting.

Got a mild/severe case of pneumonia, spent saturday in the hospital just so they could have me in observation.

They let me go home today at noon but I'm still feeling dodgy, the chills, dry cough and the fatigue is the worst part.

I am doing better thou,it is funny thou while i was there and just when i was put in the gown and in bed the doc came to see me.

Gave me the results of the chest x-rays and asked me if i was a smoker, told him i was 2 years off the cigs and now i just vaped.
He smiled and took a innokin Scepter out of his pocket and gave me a thumbs up hehe.

Well anyway,i needed someone to stay at home with my pops, social services as usual was no help whatsoever.
Called the boss lady of Red Cross from where i live and she hooked me up with a volunteer for a full week.
When we went thru the flood last year here where i live we were all moved to a school gym and none of the Red Cross volunteers knew english so i helped them when english speaking people came in,you know it was just my way to help out.

Anyway she always told me that when i needed something i should call her,so i explained everything and she quickly sorted it out.

Volunteer that comes home stays in 2 turns of 4 hours each (they rotate volunteers) and helps to give my pops the meds and cook him his meals.

Pops is ok but i don't want to spread the pneumonia to him so he is staying on the other side of the apartment,i'm just stuck in my room and mostly in bed.

I got my pc in my room so once in a while i get out of bed to check emails and visit you guys and give some likes and loves to your posts.
I also won a couple of giveaways here in ECF so that is pretty cool, think it was a pod system and a sub-ohm tank which is something i was planning in buying soon to give it a try.

Well anyway,no worries folks i am getting better, doc came today and saw i was doing well so he said about 3 or 4 more days of bed rest and i should be well enough to get out of bed.
Fatigue he said along with the cough will take a bit longer to get rid of so i gotta take care of myself.

Sending love and hugs to all my peeps in ECF,you guys take care of yourselves ok?

Cheers
Take it easy and you'll be fine. Sleep and rest are the greatest healers :)

The two leftovers from the balls removal kind of gives it away
Funny but true story. My wife's grooming business was located in our veterinarian's building. Our vet is a longtime friend. When our Australian shepherd, Echo, had his balls removed my wife brought them home. That evening when I came home she had homemade spaghetti and meatballs prepared for dinner.

I thought it was very odd that only 2 meatballs were on my plate. My clever wife had them camouflaged with spaghetti sauce. As I was about to grab one my wife stopped me, burst out laughing and then told me those 2 meatballs were our Aussie's balls.  And us being the curious types we dissected one of them just to see all the innards. I did "feel" bad for the dog. :D

Having a friend for our vet does have it's perks. One of them was being allowed in to watch his surgeries. Fun times!

You and I have very different ideas on entertainment.

Perhaps I shouldn't tell you about the times I assisted our vet. Ok, I will share one. I had the honors of snipping the balls (orchiectomy) from one of our GSD's. Again, I felt bad for our dog. Our vet did ask us if we wanted a pair of neuticles for him. We declined. :D

Neuticles.

As far as entertainment goes  I still want to go skydiving!!! RJ's post the other day only served to drive that desire deeper. We'll see.

ETA: Adding details. The average pair of neuticles costs $310, though some cost a lot more, like the $2,800 watermelon-sized custom set made for an elephant in a zoo. Neuticles are silicone implants for male dogs to replace testicles after neutering.

    @NolaMel have you called @Opinionated ???
I do hope C is doing well and also with her recovery.
And that her family is ok. :)
I shot her a message. I don’t want to call if she’s feeling peaked, unless I get panicked about her not answering. @Opinionated , girl, you better check in before I come a-huntin you!
