Hi gang!

I have not bought anything since that Lykan. But otherwise I feel fine, so I’m sure it’s nothing serious.

I finally killed an Asmodus mod. Stupidly sat my white mosaic Luna next to my embroidery machine and the arm moved and smacked it across the room. It hit with a force about like a 5 year old with a wiffle ball bat, so not crazy hard. But hard enough to knock a wire loose.

Oh well. It’s almost a relief to know I will eventually thin my herd one way or another or there wouldn’t have been a point in ‘collecting’ so many.

Got my first snow of the season, only about 3” but it’s ‘sticking’ so I need to shovel today.

Hope you are all well!

I had to lay my original topside to rest. Over 2 years of daily use is pretty good.

Cap started binding for refills, but topping off twice a day for over 2 years id say it held up well. Seems like the bottle seals werent as good either. I would get leakage into batt and occasionally squishy bottle.

Anyway, the eulogy was nice.

Her twin sister showed up and we hooked up without missing a beat.......;)

Unfortunately that only leaves 2 backups now, this is adding stress to my life.:(

I was Soo crazy with the cotton also and I was always looking inside from the driptip to see how the cotton and coil looks....

I sit one day and talk to myself and told me I can't continue like this....I will stop checking it...
I once let my wick for like one week until it was Gunky...
Then I slowly start to fall back to old times and now I rewick faster again...
Last days I rewick every day and sometimes twice a day...but I will stop that...I mean if there is not problem with the wick why change it sooooo fast...
Ugh....and I will never look at it again from the driptip with a flashlight from phone...

I am George and I am addicted to fresh wet cotton...

There is also little things like when u pull the cotton through the coil and it gets compressed on one side but the other side of the tail if fluffier than the other soooo u pull it all the way and then pull it back again Soo both sides are compressed even if it doesn't make sense cause anyway u gonna fluff both ends and anyways many things like that pfffff
Meanwhile, I go weeks and weeks between rewickings.

Been there, done that with all the above. Except for the name George ;)

Once I read that you can fix a darker-on-one-side wick by making sure both tails have even density and length - I got OCD about that too. And I went through a stage of under wicking - purely because I loved the Harley Davidson sound

You need to buy more twin topside sisters

The VV Pulse v2 is another alternative. I've had mine for 3 months :)wub: @Aliraonz ) and it hasn't missed a morning. It's a bottom refiller, and everything inside has stayed bone dry.

The chip fires fast, brilliant battery life, great at TC, and even better in wattage mode which is what I've mainly used it for. You can create custom wattage curves with the VV app too, which appeals to my inner geek

I had an interesting talk with my Dr this morning. My blood pressure was through the roof  so after he covered all the bases, he asked if I had started smoking again - and if not, did I miss it. He then said how he still misses it, even after 10 years.

I told him that I vape instead. He said how much better for you vaping was and he talked about all the benefits of it for smokers. He then said that people who quit smoking with vaping, will usually continue vaping - unlike NRTs. I said that was precisely the reason I'm still smoke-free after nearly 3 years.

He completely agreed with me, and told me to go home and knock a few points off my BP

    Good morning shinies

Had a good sleep last night through to 05h30 so figured that it was time to get up.

Had intravenous immunoglobulin last Wednesday which went really well. Hardly any side effects unlike the sub cutaneous injection I had which gave me seriously mild anaphylactic shock which was really scary. It's supposed to stop me getting so many infections which would be nice :)

Today is a Dvarw recoil and rewick day. I've got three to do that I've got in rotation. I reckon they need rewicking every two to three days but the ni80 coils I use get to the point where they start mucking up the wick even faster. I reckon I've been burning them off for about three months.....it's time :D
