I'm in much the same boat as Daniel and based on Rob's earlier emails I'd say it is highly unlikely we will ever hear from him again on ecf
We “meet” people on these boards, and they become neighbors, friends... even though it’s just conversations with avatars. Despite knowing he was in failing health, I guess it feels unbelievable because in a way, he just not here. Without knowing, he’s seemingly just away from his computer. It’s horribly sad. I hate that he and his family is going through it.... A reminder that we’re just transients here.

I've just finished having a chat with the lovely Liz from Vicious Ant who was very nice a gave me photos of all of the upcoming Marquis 21700's that haven't been put on the VA website yet and said I could take my pick if I would like:thumb:
I did like lots and now I've officially purchased myself a Marquis 21700:w00t: It's called 'The Trickster', just like me;)

Unfortunately I can't unveil my new Marvelous Marquis, it's a secret:lol: But here's one of the new one's that will be on VA website soon, this one would suit Redbird! It's pretty funkyo_O

It is so sad. We start out as basic acquaintances, become a friendly face (avatar), get to know one another a little, help each other, (the power of strangers helping strangers in awe-inspiring), and then a devastating thing happens to one and they are gone. Just gone. Unlike with a brother or sister or likewise, where you have a funeral to say goodbye, in this case, you simply have an avatar that says "goodbye". I had a similar thing with someone from long ago on the long-gone juice junkie thread. We counted on each other, we were there for each other. We knew about each other's families, problems, ups and downs. Then cancer hit, within months they were gone. Cold hard reality.

With a troubled and broken heart i agree with everything that @chanelvaps said.

Going to get cheesy in here so open a window...
Hmm,haven't even been here a year and all of you accepted me into your little family.

Truth be told i was in a dark place...sometimes i still am,but thanks to everyone here that got my back (vaping and personal stuff) i seem to be pulling thru day after day.

Just wanted to post this so you guys knew how much my little ECF family means to me.

    Cheers

Really well put guys. It is hard reality when ecf friends disappear but as for those present here and now - I'm thankful. So please all hang around ok? It's been a hard enough year without more bad stuff.

 Those ^^^^^ = words, and wisdom, to live life by and to the fullest within each moment. To be present within the now of this moment. All other 'moments' have become memories. We cherish and hold those near and dear. We honor those. With love.
