Good morning shinies

The double cream raspberry custard is coming along. I had to sub some flavours and I added one too so hope it's alright. It started almost clear and now it's a lovely golden colour.....here's a pick....it's steeped for six days....

@Pigs ... be a dear, and tell me what that mod DP posted on the “what is it” thread is when someone figures it out. It looks so freaking familiar , but it’s caught in the cobwebs of my brain. I’ll probably forget to go back and look.

I like raspberry, cream, and custard. I might be interested in mixing up something like that.

Oh BTW, I made that Apple Guava Cream mix you posted a few weeks back. I had to sub some flavors. It turned out pretty good. My version was a bit too sweet however. I think it was because I didn't have the green apple flavor to help add some sour notes to the mix.

I'm probably going to try my new juice today and do some rewicking....if it's really good I'll WhatsApp it over??

The last one was just ok after a steep but you couldn't taste the custard until then....what did you think?

That sounds interesting. Mine was a bit light on flavour but got better when steeped. I ended up adding some peaches and cream....if the raspberry double cream custard is good you can have the recipe if you like. Got to try it first to make sure....not going to release it if it's meewh

I don't have the FA Custard Premium so haven't mixed the Berry Custard yet. Sorry, I'm such a lazy mixer - really happy with the Killer Kustard clone.

I steeped it for probably 2 weeks. I used Fuji and Double Apple instead of Green Apple. And Sweet Raspberry and SSA Raspberry Syrup to sub for CAP Raspberry. I just think it was too many sweet flavors in one mix. Your original seems more balanced.

I don't have the FA Custard Premium so haven't mixed the Berry Custard yet. Sorry, I'm such a lazy mixer - really happy with the Killer Kustard clone.

No haven't posted it here. It's ok after at least ten days for the custard to develop.

I'm hopeful about the double cream one.....and it doesn't contain diacetyl as Bavarian cream does so better for you!!
