Good afternoon Dear Shiny's !!!

Carli (dog), Angel (cat) and I got back into town early this morning. We were up north Wisconsin visiting a friend and her 2 daughters for nearly 2 weeks. No riding horses this time as it was way too cold with the Arctic blast. A couple days it was near -40F with the wind chills. We had the fireplaces burning brightly!!!

My cell phone service (Verizon) has really crappy reception up there. I tried posting a couple times but gave up out of frustration. Was way too slow for me. I would call up a page on ECF and wait, wait, wait. I no longer have the patience for old dial-up modem speeds. I threw my cell phone in my backpack and said screw it!!!

Someone, anyone, please give me your opinion on this nicotine. I thought it was clear until I put some in a beaker. I wrote to Nude and sent a picture and they responded, telling me Nicotine is light yellow. I always thought it was clear.
I then went back to some of my other nicotine, bottled in 2017, that I also thought was clear and put some in a beaker. Both were this yellowish color.
Does anyone have, or has had completely colorless nicotine?

I only get nicotine from NN and have never received any like that from them. It's always been clear.

I have a bottle of their Armor v2 from 2015 I opened a few months back and it is still just as clear as new. Once I remove a bottle from the freezer I keep it in my fridge and it's always clear.

I've only purchased their Armor v2, my freezer is full of it. The Armor v2 is purged of any air and then sealed with a septum. No air can get in and I am always super careful to never introduce any air with my syringe.

NN should replace yours. They are f-ing with you and they are wrong about the color being light yellow. Unless they are shipping from a bad batch. None of the nic I've had from them going back to 2015 has EVER looked like yours.

Also your bottle looks different than mine. Is that NN's FIFO nic? Pharma?

If it's their FIFO nic perhaps they've introduced air into that batch. IIRC their FIFO nic is their fast turn around product versus the Armor which takes them longer to prepare.

Have you tried any of it? It may be fine. I would whip up a quick SnV batch of flavorless to test. That will tell you quickly if it's ok or not.

In my syringe you can see the nic is crystal clear. I checked my notes and this bottle from 2015 was opened in July 2020.


NN's Armor v2 (air purged) ships with a septum installed in the bottle.


I'm 100% certain @Katya also uses Nude Nicotine Armor v2 (might be v1???) as well and has been using it for years also.

Hmm. @CaveFurby says 30*2/38 AWG wire is "two strands of 30 gauge wrapped with a strand of 38 gauge," but @charlie1465 hit "agree" in response to my question "Am I right in thinking 30*2/38 AWG means two strands of 38 gauge wire wrapped around a single 30 gauge wire?" Both of them can't be right. Can anyone break the tie?

I'll break the tie. Although someone here probably did already.

It's absolutely 2 30g wrapped with a 38g wire.

I haven't stopped using my DL FL from KHW since I received it. It's a fine vape and very flavorful. And a nice change-up (I'm missing baseball ) from the MTL FL.

The newer DL FL. I haven't tried it yet. I washed it today and it is sitting out to dry. I'll probably set it up tomorrow.

And baseball is just around the corner, so you won't be missing it long.

I’ve had one or two that weren’t clear as water, but I buy it all over, NN, Nic River... can’t recall who it was from. I haven’t had any that smell too funky to vape. A little spicy, yes, but not nasty. If I can smell it, I can taste it.
