I can MTL an 810 DT on the Juggerknot mini with the airflow wide open. No idea how that is possible
And as for Luna, she prefers coils and cotton. She pulls the leg while I'm trying to screw down a coil. Or she pulls the Allen key out of the screw and takes off with it.
I made her a toy out of loosely knotted together 28g, so I could coil without her help. She happily spent 20 minutes trying to kill it, by dumping it in and out of her water bowl.

Hello, Shinies! Yes, I've been ordering from NN for ages and never got anything that wasn't crystal clear. That said, I get their nic in shipped in amber glass bottles (Armor V1 and V2) sealed for long-term storage, so I never really see it until I take some out. I'm not going through me 2016 stash and, again, it's clear, odorless and not a hint of pepperiness or any other undesirable off taste.
In all fairness, I never had a chance to pour a large amount of it into a beaker, so maybe a larger quantity does look a bit darker than few mls in a syringe?
We already talked briefly about that in the Random thread. To me it looks too dark... I don't know who the new chemist at NN is--I've always had a good relationship with Jake.
YOu may want to look at some pictures of really clean and clear nic in @Rossum 's thread. He's been experimenting with nicotine storage (room temp vs freezer) for quite some time.
New Samples!
Over the weekend, I ordered some 120ml bottles from VT, hoping that they would arrive in the same clear (#1 PET) plastic in which I've gotten nic from them in the past, so I wouldn't have to open them and expose them to additional air for this experiment. They arrived yesterday (fast!) and indeed, that's exactly what I got:
First is their "Premium" nic in PG:
This about as colorless as any nic I've ever seen.
Next is their "Throat Hit" in VG:
This has a slight straw-colored tint to it, but not much.
Last set their "Throat Hit" in PG:
This is closer in (lack of) color to the Premium. However, I'm a bit skeptical as to the validity of the test with these samples because, unlike the other two sets, the two bottles do not have the same date/lot code.

I've not opened any of these. All I've done is crank the ("child-proof") even tighter than they were and apply my trademark white electrical tape as an additional seal to the caps, as well as labels, "RT" for the samples that are being kept in a metal box (to keep out light) at room temperature, and "FR" to the ones that are being kept in my freezer.
Let's get this thread back on track with an update on some of my samples.
These are the ones I've got in Florida. The idea behind this set of samples is to look at whether re-bottling in glass is better or worse than leaving nic base in its original PET plastic container.
Note that due to a power outage after Hurricane Irma, the "F" (freezer) did assume ambient temperature for approximately 1 week last month, and the "RT" (room temperature) samples spent the same amount of time at somewhat warmer temps than they usually would.

Speaking of drip tips... One of my favorite DTs (your recommendation from a long time agao, thanks) broke yesterday--the resin part became unglued and completely separated from the ss part. I'm so sad. It was perfect on my Zenith tank--perfect fit and bore and everything. Has it happened to you? Anyone else? I didn't drop it--it just fell apart. I could try to glue it back in place but I'm not sure if it's a good idea--sucking on glue?
So I'm thinking to replace it with something that is not a resin/ss hybrid, but has the same dimensions.
I like those, but they seem to have a bigger bore..

Used a very tiny bit of "Gorilla Super Glue Gel" 180 degrees apart and reattached it. I let it sit to cure for a couple days and it's been fine ever since. It worked like a charm. I vape with it from 12w to 30w with no issues. It's held up very nicely. Back in business!!!

Thanks. It's the Aspire Mixx and it is built like a WWII battleship. Very nice high quality. The body is a single piece CNC'ed from a block of aluminum. I snagged a couple of them a while back and haven't had any issues with mine. I'm pretty sure @AngeNZ has like 5-6 of them.
