If you mean the dna BB clone - not yet. Just checked and they still have the 2021 clones for sale

I would have grabbed another Xeta too if I'd seen them at 3F. I vape a Xeta every day and wish I had more than two. The positive posts/clamps are fragile and snap easily. Both the YTFK and the SXK clones have been sold out at FT for ages. Really hope the cloners do another run but somehow I doubt it.

Liked to listen, didn’t like to play it. That’s often the case. There are only a few songs/bands/musicians that I enjoy both hearing and playing.

I’m learning Irish jigs on the fiddle. There is zero Irish jig in my playlist, but by golly it’s fun to bow! I think, if my violin teacher (40+ years ago) had started me with this, I’d have picked it up right away.

I still have all my LPs from the 70's and a decent record player that sees regular use. Several LPs have been replaced, wore them right out.

MP3's, ewww. I'll take FLACs instead.


Roundabout is on the LP Fragile released on November 12, 1971. It's one of my favorite Roger Dean album covers. It was their 1st album to feature Rick Wakeman.

Your brother had excellent taste in drummers. Bill Bruford was the drummer on Fragile. I still love prog rock, from the old to some of the newer bands. The band, actually supergroup, Transatlantic is one of my current favs.

I saw Neil Young several times. Last time I saw him was several years back when he was touring solo. He always puts on a great show.

The great Bill Bruford - played drums in Yes and King Crimson. My favourite drummer of all time along with Bonham, Charlie Watts and Willie Green. Four very different styles but Bruford the most technical of the bunch - more chops than a butcher's shop as the saying goes. Hats off to your brother!







The golden age of rock - no doubt. There'll never be another time like it. My 15 yo son and his friends all listen to 60s and 70s music non stop.
There are plenty of downsides to music streaming (spotify) but the huge upside is the ready availability of all genres and all eras. It says a lot that today's teenagers have a choice of listening to whatever they want and they choose the same bands we grew up with and love.

Totally agree...but there's something special about the analog sound of an LP....nothing is the same especially with softer sounds like old Jazz for example

My brother, with the original Quiet Riot, Randy Rhoads in the center, Kelly Garni to the left of Randy. My brother, Rick, on the ladder. Rick won Battle of the Bands, best drummer in L.A., three years in a row. ... and Bi-Polar took him out of continuing on in the music scene.

I love the fiddle especially the Irish jigs....in fact I like nearly every instrument I can think of except the accordion....

I don't even need to know much about it. The title of the album alone makes it worth listening to. Everyone needs a good skip, hop and wobble every now and then.

In fact, I partied my way across the USA in 1990 with my only casette being the OG Guns and Roses. I stuck my daughter with my boyfriend and had a hella time, picking up a couple of hitchhikers (remember those) and partying at the campsites. It was my last hoorah before facing sobriety and I did it to the bone

@Zazie Glass for your Dvarw MTL v2/original - you may have the same problem I did when I tried to stick a DL FL glass tank (24mm x 20mm) in one of my DL v3/originals. This is long-winded so make a coffee or two

The thickness of the PC/PEI tank is roughly 2mm, 99% of glass tanks are roughly 3mm. And the grooves in the tank top of our non-FL versions, are too thin for a glass tank that has the same height and width. I thought o-rings or glass sealers would fix it, but they don't.

If you don't mind some overhang, then a glass tank will fit, it will just stick out the sides a lil bit. Here's my pregnant DL with a 25mm x 20mm glass tank:

I don’t. I love to hear it live though. It’s not popular at all where I live, but once in a blue moon a band will be at a festival.
