Y’all laugh about the neighborhood contacting the senator, but they have found entire mail truck loads of mail in bins (including packages and commercial mail) dumped in the canals by the PO. Our replacements have mostly come every day (with personal mail only, no junk yay), but the next sector over has been battling getting mail more than one day every couple of weeks. The PO does zero about it. The ones they caught dumping mail just got reassigned. Apparently breaking a federal law isn’t grounds enough for dismissing a civil servant

Hence, the reason I knew the minute you posted the package. Informed delivery + text notification ;).
You know I was just teasing you. :)

So you knew that I shipped my package before my post?

Dang, now I feel like Big Brother Sister is watching me! :D

I really need to find vape Island in the South Pacific, and soon. All vapers are welcome. @DeloresRose we will build our Vaper's Community!

Yes. And the other domino's from my post...

If the UK does follow WHO's recommendations and bans vaping I can easily see the 27 nations of the EU following suit.

@charlie1465 @Javichu @Tor R @lupinehorror @Superuser187 heads up guys. @Lio M, this may be of interest to you too. I recall what you posted in your thread about what is going on in the Netherlands.

I took a quick look to see if New Zealand and Australia follow WHO's recommendations. Apparently they do.

@AngeNZ @Aliraonz @Fredman1 @Boudica @Pigs @Daniel Forsyth you may want to closely follow what's going on in the UK and EU.

You folks that I tagged know best what is going on in your countries. This is just a friendly "heads up" for you. :)

Based on the draconian measures taking place in the USA...I can see similar happening around the Globe in the not so far off future. Example; the Indian government recently banned vaping. Big Tobacco has it's greedy roots planted deeply everywhere.

The time to stock-up is now. Obtaining a healthy stock of nicotine should be your number one priority. Unless you plan on going with zero nicotine vapes.

The dark ages of vaping are upon us. This both :( and  me.

We don't have anything about it here in Norway. Here it's a question to sell nic or not.

I very much doubt that the UK will follow the WHO's recommendation.
The health service in the UK has been fronting vaping for many, many years.

Personally, I will buy some Nic, essences, VG, PG, wire + Rayon will probably always be available, but it is not expensive to have one stock of. I also need batteries.
I have Mods + Attys for a number of years ......

Great news Guys!

My new Abyss arrived today and it is a totally different animal. All the O rings feel good, the finish is great and the 21700 top plate is in the box!! Fill port in one piece and I can move the AF control.

The owner of the vape business thinks I must have got a preproduction sample or QC reject with the first one.

Your Abyss looks sharp Pigs. I'm happy they got that squared away for you. That was quick too.

Vape mail arrived!!!

Dovpo College SbS DNA 60 + SQuape Arise.
View attachment 932761
The College is very solidly built same as the rest of the Dovpo gear I own. In hand it is a much more natural feel and super comfortable fit compared to the Mixx or Paramour. It feels very natural firing with my thumb, index or middle finger.

It is a single 18650 mod. The battery cap is notched versus the usual threaded ones we're most familiar with. It's a quarter turn to pop it off. I wish more mods had that feature.

The College takes up to 24mm atty's. My SQuape Arise has found a new home BUT there is a pesky Dvarw DL FL rudely yanking my shirt sleeve demanding it's turn (Dvarw must wait ;)).

It is a DNA 60 chip. I haven't connected it to eScribe yet for customization. I have a DNA 60 profile from another mod I'll be installing later.

It was designed by DeerDeer and that is reflected on the battery cap with their antler logo.

The College SbS is a winner. Would I buy another one? Absolutely.
That looks great - built to last. With a DNA 60 it seems like a real quality mod. I was turned off by Mark Todd's review when they first came out but you've completely turned my head.

On the list it goes

It was the best CS I've ever seen from a vape company. The boss made the decision fast, acted fast and totally fixed the issue. Keep in mind these guys are in another state from me and the whole thing was resolved in 2 days with me vaping happily away right now.

If this was a Chinese retailer I may have paid a little less (or maybe not) but I wouldn't see a replacement for many weeks and would have had to jump through all sorts of hoops to get the process started. A good lesson for me.

I use Samsung 40t batteries in all of my 21700 mods. Including my three Almighty's.
No problems at all:)
All right I guess I'll give those a try even though the dimensions seem like they're the same. I noticed that there's like a little black plastic ledge around where the battery is on the positive side and I'm almost 100% certain that that is what's causing the problem. I don't really want to go at it with a nail file but I will if I have to lol

@Pigs, I'm still thinking about getting an Abyss and the SbS kit. But I don't know if anyone in the US will get anymore before our stoopid ban goes into effect. Last I saw in the Abyss thread from Bill was the next batch will be sometime in March. We'll see.

Ava, that's the same exact problem some people have had with the Collosal's.

Try inserting your battery negative side first and then push up on the positive side while inserting your battery. That should resolve your issue with ripping the battery wraps.

Follow the same procedure when removing your battery. Push up on the positive side while sliding the battery out.

That works good for me with my Colossal's.

There have been a couple folks who did file that little black plastic ledge down and had good results. If you go that route just file a little at a time trying a battery as you go along.

I'll keep you up to date with observations. I'd say it's a bit overpriced right now but has a lot going for it.

I bought a PnP coil bridge for road trips - will test that out along with all my BB bridges in the coming days. The Ether is working great as a restricted DL. The AF is very smooth and the flavour very good.

So far the chip reads resistance the same as 2 of my DNA mods and has a nice bright, clear screen. Haven't tested TC.

One thing I didn't expect is how much I like the fill port. It's dry, quick and looks good. Much easier than standard top fill imo. Even though it is basically a silicone plug (pod style) system, it has an SS cover and feels solid. I've had no juice come back at me during fills.

Feels very comfortable to hold and fire if you don't mind heavy. I prefer heavier mods so that suits me.

One negative is the way the top plate opens up. It might be chewing up the edges of the battery wrap at the neg end but I don't know enough about that to be sure. Let's see in a few more days.

In vid reviews of the pre release, the tank spun around easily which isn't the case with mine with the Ether bridge in. When the DT is screwed down it stays solid and tight.

There is definitely some gapping between the top plate and the top of the tank if you look closely which may bother some people.

The next batch should be in stores in about 2 to 3 weeks I've heard.
Remember the offer to on send from here is always open. Filters, machine parts etc.

I didn't forget to put it on. It was there, just stuck in the top. It might or might not have sealed itself when I put the two half together. I just wondered why the fill ports were so narrow.
I have very thin tips on my bottles and although you can fill it is difficult sometimes. It's definitely not the cap....that seals fine when you put it back together. It's easy to just flip out and replace it where it should be....I've got one Dvarw that does it no matter how lubed it is.

No I disagree.... there's no problem in France and the UK health service advice is clear on the benefits of vaping as a smoking cessation product....

I do think that there maybe taxes to pay at some point.

Also just to make everyone aware the sun newspaper in the UK is the most bogus of all.... can't believe a word in there. It's more of a comic really.

I am a bit concerned that the USA crap may spread....go figure :D
