None of this nonsense should happen with any mod, ever. Agreed, I can't stand crappy build quality on any product.I've got a paramour on the way but I did notice a discussion on FT about problems with the 510 coming loose.
I guess I really liked the idea of a small 21700 sbs but now after reading your post and the ft comments I'm kind of regretting it.
I agree SMT - can stand crappy build quality
Exactly. In the outerly Covid thread a couple folks who have received their shots said the same thing. The folks administering the shots also brought that up. In fact they do not want you taking any pain meds after the shot. Reason being so they can accurately track any possible side effects people may have.
Retired1 posted about that in the Covid thread.
People getting the vaccine in the USA are supposed to register with Vsafe after receiving the vaccine. Vsafe is used for proper tracking after one receives the vaccine.

I love tabouli and couscous. Both are quick and easy to prepare. Once finished just toss in whatever veggies and/or fruit you want and you're set.My neighbor uses it in a tabbouleh-esque dish that’s quite good. Chopping it to tiny bits helps a ton.
I enjoyed crossing all twenty some miles of the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway. Last time we crossed it I was driving a full size custom van. The wife was in the passenger seat. I drove in the right lane. My wife covered her eyes for the entire crossing. She was none too happy with me that day. Once you get out a few miles you cannot see land in any direction. Great fun!My sentiment exactly. It’s really hard to hold my breath for 35 minutes. I HATE bridges. The length of this one is particularly cruel.
The thought of the coveted vaccine on the other side of it was enough to get me across.
You better be right about the College! I took the plunge and ordered one from Element. It’ll be a slightly early vapeversary present, since it looks like the ban may coincide with that fabulous date. This morning I was swapping RTA's on my Paramour SbS and noticed the 510 assembly was lose.
No biggie. Pulled out the T5 and removed the faceplate torx screws. Tightened the 510 nut. Put her back together and all is well again.

Rant...
I'm not a fan of any gear that is NOT well built. Cheap costs, crappy manufacturing may be acceptable to some, it isn't for me. It reflects very poorly on the manufacturer. Doesn't matter if it's a clone RTA or a mod, "crap in, crap out".
The Paramour is not in the same league, or anywhere near, the build quality of the Aspire Mixx or Dovpo College SbS mods.
Nailz had an issue with his Paramour. Someone in the Picture thread found the battery housing was freakin' glued into place. A loose 510 assembly, if manufactured properly, should not loosen itself over time.
I wouldn't recommend the Paramour SbS. It should have been a $25 mod, at best! Like many here I have mods that are fairly old and they never have issues. And some of them were low cost mods.
Most vapers would likely throw a mod with issues in the garbage. Many, for whatever reasons, would never take a mod apart to attempt a repair on their own.
Rant over.
Annie Paramour repaired and back in business...

I kind of agree that crap is not a good thing (pun intended) but when you've got 200 different Chinese folks sitting on a production line there's always going to be a few that slip through the net....eg under pressure the nut doesn't get tightened down properly and then it slips through quality control.None of this nonsense should happen with any mod, ever. Agreed, I can't stand crappy build quality on any product.
I seem to recall an Arise RTA clone that had issues. And the thread where I took crap over the "quality" of the product. The Defender of Crap amused the total F out of me in that thread. Yeppers! Go figure.
3 people, that I know of, on ECF with 3 different Paramour problems is not a very good track record.
Perhaps they resolved any and all issues with subsequent batches.![]()
NSAIDs are blood thinners. The folks who administer the vaccines are very cautious with people who take NSAIDs or regular blood thinners.Well I’ll have to ask about this. I take Nsaids every day. It’s the only way I can function.
No rant away.....with vaping and kale we can beat all illnesses....not to mention other healthy choicesYou better be right about the College! I took the plunge and ordered one from Element. It’ll be a slightly early vapeversary present, since it looks like the ban may coincide with that fabulous date.
It’s a sad feeling knowing this is probably the last vape “treat myself” purchase. I look back to 9 years ago and my health is so much better now. Less illness, better able to exercise, etc... it’s criminal that they’re taking away the option for people to quit. I don’t understand how they don’t see (outside of pure @#& greed) that in the long run, letting people have unfettered access to cigarettes is costing them immense amounts of $$. All in the name of bowing to big tobacco and big pharma. Is saving the tobacco industry that much more important than saving lives?
Rant over... it’s just really sticking in my craw this morning
Maybe. However there are many examples on ECF of Chinese products be they clone RTA's or mods that have rarely had issues. The Coppervape Dvarw was a great example. In the CV Dvarw thread I don't recall hearing of any issues or problems. CV was a great company.I kind of agree that crap is not a good thing (pun intended) but when you've got 200 different Chinese folks sitting on a production line there's always going to be a few that slip through the net.
I love the College. In fact I ordered another one 3 days ago. It's my favorite SbS mod. If you don't like yours I know someone who will take it.You better be right about the College! Of course it is, you commie! Is saving the tobacco industry that much more important than saving lives?
But this is three defective mods out of however many that ECFers recently purchased, presumably far shy of thousands.I kind of agree that crap is not a good thing (pun intended) but when you've got 200 different Chinese folks sitting on a production line there's always going to be a few that slip through the net....eg under pressure the nut doesn't get tightened down properly and then it slips through quality control.
Quality control is commonly done with statistical analysis so maybe the QC checks several samples from each corner of a pallette load and then extrapolates am assumption that the whole pallet is good. Doesn't necessarily mean that there isn't a ringer in the center
I tend to be more understanding and three mods out of thousands doesn't constitute an all-round problem....but hey it is bloody annoying though![]()
Boeing. Lockheed Martin. Others.Of course it is, you commie!
SMT's link can be done on computer, which is what I'll have to do, if necessary. As far as pain meds after, don't suffer. Note what the effects you are having, report them, then take something for them. DEFINITELY no pain meds BEFORE shot.I guess they're only interested in the reactions of people with smartphones.
I’m planning on loving the College. I checked my Paramour and its 510 is nice and sturdy. (Yay)I love the College. In fact I ordered another one 3 days ago. It's my favorite SbS mod. If you don't like yours I know someone who will take it.
I totally agree with you. My take? They all know that "sick" people are a multi billion dollar industry. Keep people sick and make more money, simple. It would not surprise me if the health care industry has surpassed BT and BP in earnings. They're all working together IMO. The top dogs, rich golfing buddies, don't give a hoot about our health. All they care about is the bottom line, money.
