I’m planning on loving the College. I checked my Paramour and its 510 is nice and sturdy. (Yay)

I think the problem is self creating. It’s all in the lobbying and the $$ they put in the politician’s war chests. Big T gives $ to make sure laws lean in their favor. The more $$ they make, the more they can pour back into swaying politicians. And the more concessions and power they get.
The insurance companies are the ones that should be paying attention. Their aim is to collect high premiums and have the consumer not need to use any of it on health care. More smokers = higher costs for them. History has shown us prohibition doesn’t work. And... Based on all of our personal experiences with big p’s cessation products, we know they’re only effective for a handful of people. It was easier to bow to “save the children” than do what was right. We can pour $$ into CASAA, but the sad truth is, it would never be enough to beat what T and P have to “donate” to politicians. Money truly speaks, unfortunately.
The NHS is a big reason the UK is so vaping friendly. No one's making money from lung cancer over there.

I've got four on the go at any one time....the only one that doesn't get the problem is a fruit with no sweetener. All the rest are creams/custard.

I think it's a combination of the sweeteners and the top cap getting hot.... they're ok for about 4-5 days then yuk...how often do you rewick/re-coil?

Five on the go, all sweetened, and I rewick every 2-3 days. And not because they need it, I just prefer a fresh wick - one of my many faults

Next flavour order, get yourself some Flavorah Sweetness. Try using that, instead of your usual TFA sweetener/CAP Super sweet/Sucralose.

It made a difference for me, when I started using it. And @Letitia uses FLV Sweetness too (once in a blue moon) ;)

The only one making money off illnesses is Big P imo. Hospitals only get a set repayment for illnesses/treatments/office visits. Medicare/medicaid are notoriously low reimbursements, compared to that of insurance you or your employer pays for.
At the beginning of Covid, the very large hospital here was bleeding several million $$$ a month in unreimbursed costs. Employees were asked to donate back their vacation time to keep it going. They had rolling unpaid days off. I know intensive care docs who worked 6-7 days a week for several months until it got under control. They didn’t get paid more, but less to make sure that the doors would be open to treat the patients.
Our insurance rates in turn go up to compensate for the under or uninsured patients. Insurance companies aren’t sharing any of that back with health care entities.

Nope. Not happening. Fear of heights. Fear of bridges. No.
:D Have you ever gone across the beautiful San Diego-Coronado Bridge? It's only 200 feet up in the center and IIRC a short two miles. When in San Diego I always crossed it to visit a favorite family owned bakery on Coronado. Lovely people and some of the best bakery around. Driving across is fine. Ferry or water taxi, no thanks, too slow.

Many memories down in that whole area...

Did they ever create the proposed bike lane across? That would be fun. ;)

SMT's link can be done on computer, which is what I'll have to do, if necessary. As far as pain meds after, don't suffer. Note what the effects you are having, report them, then take something for them. DEFINITELY no pain meds BEFORE shot.
HIYA, Everyone....heard good things about this thread. Any friend of @ShowMeTwice is a friend of mine...same goes for @chanelvaps :) Hi, Zazie! :p

Someone on ECF, don't think I should mention who (maybe I should, no it's better this way), shared the Jai Haze review of the Paramour that's up on YT.

It's the most hilarious Jai Haze video I have ever seen. And being totally honest... I 100% agree with some parts of his review.

The video is titled "Drama: Someones a B*tch".

I highly recommend watching it from start to finish. The ending is spectacular.

Would post the YT video but it would get deleted due to language used.

me too! I left home at 15 and hitchhiked from L.A. to San Diego. Lied about my age and got a job in a Ramada Inn. Then got a cool little apartment in downtown San Diego. I also lived in Lemon Grove. A small suburb of SD

Thanks Zazie....I am aware I probably push the wick to far and I should do better....I prefer a fresh wick too....nothing better. My coils need doing too...I've left those far too long :)

None of this nonsense should happen with any mod, ever. Agreed, I can't stand crappy build quality on any product.

I seem to recall an Arise RTA clone that had issues. ;) And the thread where I took crap over the "quality" of the product. The Defender of Crap amused the total F out of me in that thread. Yeppers! Go figure. :)

3 people, that I know of, on ECF with 3 different Paramour problems is not a very good track record.

Perhaps they resolved any and all issues with subsequent batches.
Agreed. And BTW in my original reply to your post there was a typo can should have read can't. Now fixed
