If it was my coil, I'd check I have both wick shoulders/tails with the same density. Which is harder to do in an Exocet wick, but as you twist yours like I do - if the twists aren't even, pull it out and take off a few strands off one side.
That would be my guess. I'd also try wicking with less cotton than you would normally use, just in case it's something as simple as overstuffing the muffin (technical term)

My usual technique has been to pull the wick through until it evens out on both sides but I agree I'm probably getting an imbalance. I watched Robs Exocet wicking vid again and now I'm setting the coil higher and paying more attention to the straitness of the cotton I'm getting better results....I think as it was only today.
I agree I'm probably stuffin the muffin too....can't stand a crackly coil. I also cut my ends much shorter so I hope it improves my vape.

The New York Cheesecake I've got is Flavour Art. Just checked the label. That's the one I used in Charlie's KK clone recipe. Delicious!!!
SMT, Charlie, myself, Mel, Nailz and Zazie had a rolling energetic discussion about the different versions of the Paramour and the screen orientation/resulting up down button placement.
My takeaway? Disturbing lack of QC to have ANY variation between mods, plus pretty darn cruddy construction. I’ll only put a battery in mine if I go to use it. The discussion makes me feel like it can’t be trusted.
