I've tried nearly all the strawberry flavors. My favorite for realism, before MF's, was FA Strawberry (Red Touch) at 3-3.5% mixed with FA Juicy Strawberry at 1.75-2.5%. Combined they were very realistic, nothing artificial.

On ELR there were some folks who couldn't taste strawberry using the s-berry flavors most use in DIY. A few of those tried MF Strawberry, discovered they could taste s-berry again and really like it.

MF Strawberry is the most realistic IMO. It tastes like a juicy ripe California strawberry. I'm planning on doing a mix with MF and the two FA s-berries. It'll be a very simple 4 flavor mix with FLV Cream, as a test. Then I'll likely add either a cake or cookie flavor for a foundation. FW Yogurt would also work well for separate recipe.

:)
Bang on as per my original research but nope couldn't taste it....smells fantastic. I'm just strawberry blind...... and not such a big deal....I can live without it. I do have a recipe with red touch/juicy and a touch of beryl which is supposed to work for S blindness but keep shying away from the potential disappointment :)

I’m loving the MF I have. Have you tried the dark chocolate? I need to sft it it first, but I was toying around in my head with that plus MF butterscotch and caramel, LB ice cream, a nut ( INW mixed nut???) and something for a cone for a Nutty Buddy kind of vibe.
MF Dark chocolate is good. I like it a lot. I'm still working on making a convincing milk chocolate using their dark choc. It's slow going but I am not ready to throw in the towel. :D

Your Nutty Buddy idea sounds really good. I would use WF SC Crispy Wafer for the cone. Their wafer is really good.

Thanks for the idea! If I was making that, likely will ;), I would use SSA Ice Cream and SSA Ice Cream Vanilla instead of LB's. LB ice cream is way too sweet for me. The SSA's aren't nearly as sweet (the wafer will add sweetness).

For the nut flavor, I would try FA Hazelnut first and only a few drops (2-3) cuz it's strong. Or perhaps FW Hazelnut or WF Hazelnut & Cream.

FA Nut Mix might be a good one to try too. Per HIC's notes:

This is not quite as potent as Hazelnut, but it's still quite strong. I taste hazelnut, walnut, and almond. This is good for nutty tobaccos. Try it in candy bar recipes with butterscotch, caramel, cocoa, chocolate, nougat, a little fresh cream. It's awesome in Torrone, very authentic Italian candy flavor. A little Maple Syrup or Honey make great sweeteners for it.

ETA: See SessionDrummer's SSA notes on ELR. He's pretty spot on with his extensive SSA reviews.

I've already tested all my strawberries individually and couldn't taste 'em, but I'm going to mix this up sometime. If I can't taste it, that's it: I'm yanking all my strawberries for PIF'ing.

I don't know that there are any negatives. The current 18650 Mixx battery tube is pretty heavy duty. I like its 2mm thickness. If the new 21700 battery tube is ~1mm or less it may feel, IDK, somehow cheaper, or of lesser quality, if that makes sense. It's going to be a tight fit for sure. I will pass.
I just had another look at the stock pics that Ange posted. Looks like it might flare out to be wider above the aluminium housing-so possibly as sturdy as the 18650 tube. Maybe the thinner walled part will just be inside the housing so not a structural or feel problem.
    Speculation only.

Dan's twin @stabwood is good posted the pic and info on the 21700 addition
I did steal the pic though to show this:

See how the cage/tank support, now slots down into that gap? Obviously what I thought was a tank support, was more of a battery tube support. It certainly improves the cageless look of it too.

Is there a way to lock the fire button? tried looking for confirmation on that in reviews and such and haven't found anything.

Yup, five clicks locks the fire button, and to turn it off completely - do that, then hold down the fire button for 2 seconds

Nice...that is one feature i always look for.
When i go out i always carry my man bag packed with documents, doc papers for my pops, etc, etc so when i go in a store or somewhere else i prefer to lock the fire button instead of turning it off completely.

I actually melted once the top cap of a Wasp Nano RTA because the mod i was using didn't have the fire lock function.
Wasn't melted completely but it was well stuck in the ridges where you screw in the proprietary cap/drip tip.
Had to spend 30 minutes with a cutter slowly getting all the bits of plastic out, since then i never forget to lock the fire button :lol:

And yeah Joey used a man bag so it's cool that a male spanish specimen like me uses one too
