Yes we do,i love her attitude and demeanor in interviews and interactions with her fans, interview with Craig Ferguson was hilarious and that time i think in 2015 where she kissed and i mean really kissed a fan.

You are missed Carrie.
I agree.
She was intelligent, strong, funny and honestly flawed. What a woman!

I'm using the most open of the AF inserts on mine. Also found that dropping the coil to about 1mm above the af is the sweet spot for me.
Thanks....my coil is quite high. Just a tad higher than the posts, if you can call them that. Tbh I think it's machine oil and the metal heating up.....getting a metallic taste....it's definitely wicking fine... probably more of a break-in thing I hope. I'm running the 3mm insert with the airflow wide open too.

What does SG mean?

EDIT Oh sorry! you mean is that a Gibson SG? No it's a Gibson 335 copy. Made by a local Luthier here
Sg...my favourite guitar. With the bridge lowered and the action sorted....best guitar ever :hubba:

That sucks. Nothing worse than a metallic or burnt plastic taste in a new atty. Hopefully it's break in like you said. Keep us posted
Quite...and the last thing you want to inhale either.

Hope you're doing ok mate!!

I didn't plan to put it in the shot - I was in a rush to reply to Red's Mixx/Galactic empire post.
I found that guitar in a council cleanup (hard trash) collection in my street. It was wreck. No electronics, the neck was twisted etc etc. I brought it home as a dressup prop for my then 9 yo son.
Just last year I got an offer from a very well known Australian Luthier and repairer of electric guitars to fix it up for me at cost price.
This guy only works on top of the range vintage Fenders, Gretschs, Rickys and Gibbos (when he's not building his own) but he agreed to do this as a favour, knowing it was a Xmas gift for my now 15yo boy. Was so lucky.
He did an incredible job. I'm helping one of his son's out now with work experience as a trade.

that’s so cool... it’s tragic when an instrument is neglected and tossed away. So glad it’s been restored! It’s really beautiful, bet it sounds sweet!

My brother has one, and another Gibson. Great guitars, but the necks are too wide for me. I’m a Fender girl. Love my Strat.

Nice! Which version of Strat is that?

it’s the American Fat Strat. Not a super expensive one, but I’ve had it about 18 years now. The quality is great. My daughter got a Squier at the same time and it was like $100 and even that was a great guitar, surprising for the money.

Has anyone bought Pg lately? What’s with the prices, $45 a gallon! Glad I still have some. Needed vg, got it from Amazon. That’s a buck or two more than last time I bought it, but that’s reasonable. I paid less than$20 for pG last time.
$45 a gallon, wow.

The last time I bought PG it was $18.52 a gallon and VG was $13.40 a gallon. Good thing I bought plenty of both.

Love those too...unique sound. I'm more of a rythm/funk guitarist so the feel of the SG is superb....solid body...too much feed back with the acoustic body :D

Hollow bodies are SO big and heavy! But I loved to hear Brian Setzer play it.
