Bling Bling baby!!

rda Jedi Masters,need some advice.

Friend who i got into vaping is thinking of getting an RDA,talked with me asking for some advice which honestly i have none since i don't really like dripping or squonking.

He started with a Veco (my advice,so he could ease himself into vaping),now he owns a Jackaroo and a couple Colossals,he saw mine and he loved the size and shape of it.
Atomizer wise he has a couple of dead rabbits and will probably get a Juggy MR in the next future,i think he will just get one so i stop talking about how good mine is :lol:

Well anyway he wants to try an RDA,was thinking of suggesting to him a single coil RDA that has a wide bore in the drip tip so he can drip thru there without having to remove the top cap.

Any brand/model you guys could recommend?

Sorry i haven't been around much, alergy season here (i am really susceptible to climate changes) so yeah alergies all day,on top of that the usual just taking care of my pops and not much else.

cheers

My Mountain
interesting stuff. and a long time since i considered the base, was pretty flexible, really enjoyed the flavour of 50/50 at first and gradually changed to 70 witht the times as DL became my primary vape, then thought why lose the flavour and the chance to lower the nicwhile maintaining the hit i was used to. at this point between 60-70 and 1.8-2mg i don't consciously notice a difference.

what i'm considering now, per what i'm hearing is that the tinkering might help ease the effects of the chaining.

i just love how noone's suggested slowing down a bit, at least before sleep. i might be doing 50ml a day and you loons be sayin if you kink a leg you'd pull off 51

If your chain vaping at 2mg/ml and want to slow it down increase your nicotine level some..

I've never been an RDA Man myself, it's either the RDTA's or Brunhilde;)
I have used some of Asmodus RDA's on and off one RDA I have used quite often is the Asmodus .Blank and I would most definitely recommend it as fantastic single coil RDA:)There a Flavour Banger:headbang:

    Ok you've got me thinking @Z-Lee .

Straw poll - who of you Shinyitis folk buys multiple versions of mods/devices they've never owned before and why?
Is it to do with the looming vapocalypse in the USA or something else. Perhaps fear of devices breaking?
Or just joy of ownership maybe. Or spare parts?

It's a vapocalypse thing... if the price is really good and said item reasonably popular and/or reviews well I'll get two.

I picked up 2 Jackaroo (full kit) @17 dollars each, for instance, and two Asmodus Colossal (again full kits) for under 15 each...

The prices were good enough to pick up a couple, whereas, for instance, I only picked up 1 Solo for 25 (If memory serves) since it reviewed well but the price wasn't quite good enough for 2 of something I never tried.

On the other end, I bought one Topside Dual on sale for 58 dollars, then liked it so much I picked up more @ full price elsewhere.

But it is fear of not having the gear I prefer in the future causing me to get multiples.. and, these prices are unique to the U.S. because of all the businesses closing shop.

If all this wasn't looming, I'd likely still be happily vaping my P3... and wouldn't have two crates of gear..

I won't buy an RDA unless it's BF capable. I never have, and never will intend on carrying around with me, a bottle of juice that doesn't serve "oh ...., I'm out!" purposes.

Additionally on this matter - the more and more I vape, the more and more I realize that various mod and tank configurations (and even batteries) can give off extremely different flavors with the same juice. With that in mind, having tons of different options to bring a juice to life that felt rather duddish adds to the experimental aspect and fun for me.

I never vaped for fun, and I still don't.

I couldn't breathe when I began vaping, like quite literally I was suffocating while alive. And that is truly terrifying.

When my breathing got so bad I couldn't get to the mailbox without rest stops to catch my breath, and light housework was causing my lips to turn blue I spoke to my doctor about vaping in order to quit smoking.

I had tried everything else to no avail, so looked into vaping.

I'd vape even if the ego and ce4 was the only thing available, just to breathe again... it's what I quit on after all.

So I just see vaping differently, it saved my life. By now 6, almost 7 years later if not for vaping I'd be on full-time oxygen by now. But then I do have emphysema from smoking, and cigarettes were an addiction I just couldn't shake until I found vaping.

I used to drip out an about all the time....in meetings etc. It's ok if you're on your own but as soon as you get in a group you forget and suddenly you get that horrible dry hit. I don't advise it but I even used to manage to drip while driving :D

Totally agree....saved my life too. I guess the jury's still out on whether vaping makes emphysema progress it certainly doesn't feel that way. My lungs have never felt clearer especially after losing a lot of weight because of the cancer. My breathing is so much better because my lungs have room to expand properly without all that extra belly fat and I'm going to keep it that way.
Stopping smoking completely can stop emphysema progression but obviously can't repair the damage already caused....it doesn't seem like vaping is making mine worse that's for sure....each test has been better than the last

    Good morning shinies

@Z-Lee didn't realize (or have forgotten) that flavours could crystallize so maybe strike the freezer part. Really though the best thing is to learn to DIY as then you tend to not have juice hanging around. All my NIC is in the freezer, flavours last for eons and my VG PG is stored in the dark.

Have a great day/evening all

I freeze the Nic, and make up enough base for about 3 months - that’s in the freezer too. Pretty easy for me as my recipes are mostly the same % of total flavor. I still end up with a few bottles of juice laying around, because I’m flavor fickle. I love one and make too much to use before I tire of it.

Mines far better than it was... far far better. It's been going a bit downhill again without being able to exercise, but even so it's still better than it was... Once I can re-incorporate exercise I'm sure it'll get a bit better again, rely on inhalers a little less.

I don't think vaping aids in progression, in my experience anyway. But then, I was in such bad shape when I began who knows? Lol...

It has certainly bought me years at any rate.

I'm thinking about getting a couple of Gaur-21's. Anyone that's been using them run into any issues so far?
 I just bought 3 of them :pervy:
I haven't really used them long enough to say if there's any problems or not...I just got them in on saturday I think it was. But enjoying them...I don't regret buying 3
they take dual 21700s and comes with 2 adapters for 18650s
it's not waterproof as it states, there's no cover on the charging port, juice leaks into the door and batteries, however the board is enclosed in it's own area so I don't think anything's going to get into it unless it goes through the charging port.
it's much much lighter than the aegis legend
the buttons are like extra clickly
though I only use the watt mode so can't say anything about the other modes

I do not buy much of anything anymore. except for the POD blitz I went on. In that case I bought 4-5 of each. And Yes, used to be whenever I bought something I would always buy at least two. Not sure why. I think because I feared it would become all the rage and I would not be able to get another later. LOL. The mind of a shiny person eh?

I buy backups of mods i really like, for when one dies etc....
However what has bit me several times is i find something i like better and the early multiples collect dust.
Happened with my pocket carry aio's. Liked the rpm series from smok, bought several. Then found the ursa quest and havent touched the rpm's since lol. I did pif one though......

Not to mention the probably 30 squonks i bought before i found the topsides. Those are staying for my "collection", and for the day i have no more topsides.

Months before I started vaping, my doctor said (not for the first time, mind, this was an ongoing conversation) that my lungs ought to get checked, sounded like early emphysema.

my next check up was one year later, a few months after I had fully quit smoking and was a full time vaper. Also, this was just after he had diagnosed my husband’s cancer, so he was particularly cautious with me. And he said my lungs sounded great.
Now prior to this appointment, I had told him about quitting and vaping and he said he wasn’t too keen on the vaping, but if it got me off the smokes, he wouldn’t admonish me. He called it cautious optimism. But after her heard the difference for himself, he was open to learning the pros and cons.
I can’t confirm if he’s had the chance to do his own research on it, but I’d be surprised if he hasn’t.

I did not notice any shortness of breath or other symptoms- except morning coughing - prior to quitting, but my heartburn/acid reflux is much better, my Reynauds is just about in remission, and the cough is mostly gone.

    purely anecdotal I know.

That is very true. I noticed it even before I started doing reviews but doing them has very much enforced the fact that different mod, tank, and coil combinations can make the same liquid taste totally different.

Back in the day, I used to drip on lr302's and 801 attys and would shot gun them with no tip. There wasn't much available when I started so you had to do whatever you could to get a satisfying vape.

The new Legend 2 I'm testing for a review is quite a bit lighter than the original and it doesn't have the rubber on the body like other aegis mods so dirt and dust doesn't stick to it.
