    ok took a few pics to compare and show you @Z-Lee
    so on the left is the guar-21, on the right is the aegis legend
    yeah I've dropped the aegis quite a few times :lol: nothing wrong with it other than some chipped paint
    there is some moisture behind the plastic screen protector but it's not damaged the screen

    so in the first pic you can see at the bottom of the guar is the charging port and there's no cover to it so if it did drop into a puddle I'd fear that it'd get into the board from that port.
    the second picture just showing the 510 placement, I wish it were more centered like the legend
    and you can see that the buttons are more flush on the guar
    then a side by side shot (or is that back to back)
    unlike the legend where the battery door is on the bottom of the mod, the gaur's sides slide off to access the batteries and I've already had juice in there...
    the bottom middle picture to show that it is closed off inside, that blue oval is just a sticker
    and then a sort of side front shot, you can see the screen is recessed a bit and the buttons stick out a bit not too much

    I don't know honestly if I dropped the guar as much as I did the legend if it would hold up as well..I mean it's a solid enough mod but I feel the legend is more drop resistant :lol:
    I have bad arthritis in my hands/fingers so I tend to drop things often and if I bend my wrists in a certain way I will lose all feeling in my fingers and drop whatever I'm holding. But the guar is much lighter...ya know hold on a sec...
    both mods have the same exact setup
    squonk adapter, profile rda, 16 - 17mm drip tips
    only difference is the batteries, the legend has 18650s and the guar has 21700s
    the legend weighs 394.51g
    the gaur weighs 373.53g
    lol I swear the gaur feels much lighter, like if you hold the two in each hand, it's a noticeable difference.

    ok without any atties or batteries
    legend = 198.95g
    gaur = 132.72g

    Still good info though! I'm not sure about CB though - anyone having issues ordering from there to the states?

    haven't tried em recent, curtainsly not states but to germania they're my favourite for speed, always 10-12days, and they did good flash sales that more than make up for the shipping

    Oof. I overlooked the battery door on the Gaur. I had recently mentioned to someone that I wasn't a fan of some of the Asmodus mods because the batteries were side loaded. I find getting them in and out to be rather tedious simply because it seems much harder to not damage the PVC battery casing. The 21700 capabilities are just too appealing to override that on the Gaur though. Would you say you're still happy with the purchase?

    Thank you for the pics and comparison though. I've been extremely pleased with all of the GeekVape mods and tanks I've purchased thus far. Hopefully the Gaur will prove to be the same.

    I was worried about the batteries being difficult, and there's no little piece of fabric like on some other mods to help pull the batteries...but honestly they come out pretty easily...getting the 21700s in is a tight squeeze, the battery connectors aren't spring loaded or whatever, there's no give in them, so you do kind of have to fidget a bit to get the batteries in but they come back out fairly easily...I think it's because I instinctively want to angle the batteries in but you really can't, they have to go straight in.

    I do this too, lol. I feel like you experience scraping only on one end if you can get the other end to kind of seat in there before you slide it in. I haven't used 21700's yet, which reminds me - I need to put in a battery order now. :facepalm:

    Yeah, I got one of those. It looks like a battery charger for a single battery. It's actually a battery tester. It will give you the capacity and internal resistance of a battery. I don't know how accurate it is since I don't have anything to compare it to, but the results were mostly what I expected to see for new batteries and old batteries. It told me that my 2 year old batteries were still fairly good but 3 year old batteries had lost well over half their capacity. I used to recycle batteries after 3 years, now I do it after 2 years.

    It would also be good for identifying individual batteries that are dying before their time for whatever reason. I'm planning to test all my batteries every 6 months, or whenever I'm concerned about a particular battery. I tested them all once, I haven't had the tester for long enough to do a second test. It does take quite a long time to run a battery through the process.

    Go bigger! It's what every girl wants :D

    Unless of course you actually need a 35A CDR 21700. I go for the Molicel P42A 30A 4000mah or Samsung 40T 25A 4000mah, depending on what's cheapest at the time.
