River Supply is now selling everything at 75% off till May 31, midnight PST. Medicine Flower flavors are now $6 a pop.
I saw that on elr and went to grab some mf and a couple more wf, total of about 7oz and they wanted 12.00+ for shipping. Went to BCF and ordered 10+oz and shipping was 9.00+. Went back to RS and emptied the cart. I'll just wait and order directly from MF down the road when money isn't tight.

Here's my 14yo nephews photos from the blood moon lunar eclipse:

These were all taken hand held on his Canon SX60 hs. Even more impressive, he shot these in full auto mode using the low light setting.

I'm definitely hard on my batteries.

I charge to 4.2v @ 2A, which reduces their cycles a lot. But it means I'm only charging them supervised, which is purely for piece of mind.

My new batteries go in my unregulated/mech mods. If I'm pulling them at 3.6v or below, I'm happy with the coil resistance I'm using. If I'm pulling them at 3.8v, then I change to a lower ohm coil.

After 6-9 months, I buy a new sets of batteries for the mech/unregulateds, and the old batteries go into my regulated mods. In a regulated mod, I usually pull at 3.2v-3.4v depending on the mod.

And if I would stop buying new setups, I wouldn't need so many batteries on the go!

I charge mine the same. Also supervised - I always here. I have some that are 4 years old that I need to recycle, although they still work fine. I just think I’m pushing my luck. And this reminds me I meant to order new batteries.

The best 18650 batteries I've ever used have been the Vapcell 2800 MAh, 25A re-wraps of the Sony VTC5D. They've got the most robust wrap (never tear) and I can use them for all of my mech and reg single 18650 devices safely with most builds.
Can't get them anymore unfortunately and my current stock are nearly past it.

Just found a local source for Sony/Murata VTC5Ds though which is great news!
I've only ever bought one of the Moli P26As but it doesn't seem to live up to the advertised 2600mAh rating. Maybe it's a clone.

All good here, in a few weeks I get my second shot then I'll be fully Moderna-ized. ;)

Still using old gear (KFv4), all the cloud stuff has been retired. I have been beta testing a tube mod/mtl tank combo from Steam Crave that should be going into production very soon. All I can say is, I like it!
    :vapor:

In other news IKKO Audio is sending a pair of their OH-10 IEMs for me to write a review on. It's been years since I've written any reviews so it should be entertaining, I'm looking forward to hearing these.

    Morning shinies ;)

A bit of contrast, sharpening and structure. The later two are blurry, either due to my manual focusing or that my lens had frost all over it and condensation. A lens hood would help prevent that?

Edited to add: I found it really hard to keep the moon in picture, with the lens zoomed out so far. It seriously gave me so much appreciation for you guys who capture flying birds. I'm going to practise with mountain tops, in daylight and they better not move!

The pulse 2 is fantastic, it's so much bigger than my other squonkers - but I love using it too much :D
Best way to cope with cold is to acclimatise your camera in a bag before you start and if you are still getting condensation just keep giving it a wipe before each shot...re blurring use the timer on the camera so that you don't shake it by depressing the fire button. Also don't worry so much about zooming in on the moon (I'm not sure how much zoom you've got), you can always crop later, focus to infinity manually untill you're sure it looks sharp. Here's one I took a while ago with an old manual 70-200 tokina lens....

Yes, I’ve got the Ether in it, and that’s an easy build. I put a pre-made coil in it, 3.0 id (because I was feelin lazy and didn’t feel like swapping out the 3.5 rod in my jig to wrap lol). The mod is really solid and fabulous in hand. Very well done. Solid button, totally silent. I do not love taking the top plate off - and it seems like I’ll have to do a lot of that because it doesn’t get very good battery life. At all. I have to swap at least 30% sooner than any other mod I can think of. I’m using an 18650, and I will try it with a 21700. But still... I put the 3.0 AF in it, and get a hit about like BB - quite restricted, but not too much so for my tastes.
I know there’s a lot of love for these, but it’s not my fave. I like it okay, wouldn’t buy another tbh.
Sorry to hear you're not so keen on the Abyss...my battery life is really good but then I use 2.5id 0.5 Clapton's....it definitely doesn't drain the battery when standing :)

I read about this in other reviews. It seems that sentiment is pretty widely agreed upon.
I don't mind it but it can be a bit finicky sometimes but that's just a getting used to it thing! I absolutely love mine....hence the second one :)

I generally put a fresh battery in everything first thing in the morning. They’re usually down about to 60% or a bit higher when I change them. I put the battery in the Abyss after dinner and by morning it was down to almost 50%. It’s at 22w and I went through one tank of juice. I can drain a Luna bottle and still have more battery left. I’m not really fussy about knowing exactly how battery life compares, but this was enough of a difference that I noticed.
That's defo not right... something is going on there...were you vaping it constantly??

$6.56 Replacement Tank Kit for Dvarw DL V3 RTA Atomizer - 6ml at FastTech - Free Shipping

Anybody use these with their DVARW V3s? I purchased two : a black one and a silver one. I find that if I try to shut the JFC it pushes the cotton to the side creating a hole in the wicking which reults in a flooded deck and empty tank - the exact opposite of what I thought was the whole point in it's function.
Yup agree with @Pigs don't use the Exocet wicking method...just the standard as per steamtuners advice...or many wicking vids :)

I use various different batteries but the Molicels are excellent. Maybe you've got a dud as you say.
I use mine until my charger tells me that the battery is dropping to 2.0 amps each charge and definitely in the recycling bin when they won't charge fully.

@DeloresRose if you're using an old battery in the Abyss that may be your problem...my older batteries always drain way to fast and it's time for the bin :)

I reckon so. Based on Mooch's reviews and charts (I always read before buying a new type of cell) they should be excellent. I either got a clone or old stock. My 3 year old Samsung 25R workhorses hold a charge longer.

Mooch has got a lot of info on spotting clones....maybe you can find out??

    How're you doing Ted :)

Well thanks Charlie. I tried googling Molicel clones Mooch and drew a blank so far. Also searched other info about Moli clones and found plenty of chat but nothing definitive. I'll trust my gut on this and not buy from the same vendor again.
    That's ok though - I've found some reputable VTC5Ds..
