Best way to cope with cold is to acclimatise your camera in a bag before you start and if you are still getting condensation just keep giving it a wipe before each shot...re blurring use the timer on the camera so that you don't shake it by depressing the fire button. Also don't worry so much about zooming in on the moon (I'm not sure how much zoom you've got), you can always crop later, focus to infinity manually untill you're sure it looks sharp. Here's one I took a while ago with an old manual 70-200 tokina lens....

Brilliant, thank you  I had my lens cloth in a bag in my pocket, but completely forgot about it. I saw the frost on the outside of the lens, but didn't check the lens itself until I was inside. Live and learn.

I'd read a tip somewhere to use the self-timer as a poor man's shutter release, and I was using that, which definitely made a difference. And I was trying to zoom in too far, you're right there. It's got the equiv. of a 24mm-840mm. Less zoomy-zoom next time.

Here's some other pics of the blood moon. You can spot the professional photographers a mile away, and the non-pros who've 100% saturated:

I'm no expert in MTL. In fact I frankenvape the opposite to @AngeNZ - I direct lung with the 1.8mm af of the KFL 21. Like super restricted DL..

Yep, you're as screwed up as me! If an atty is too tight for me, I vape it RDL. Anything airy, is perfect for MTL :D

I was just curious. As long as it works, that's what matters.

I've got the Steamtuners top fill kit clone and had exactly the same trouble as you when I first built for it. The solution for me was to make sure there is no wick at all protruding from the wick holes. Once you do that it works great. Vaping mine now:

Thanks! That's exactly the info I was looking for. :headbang:

Aren't those MTL RTAs? I didn't know 24G worked well for MTL. I thought it had to be thinner wire.
Thicker wire just means less wraps. And probably a bit of a longer ramp up time and cooldown - but overall should perform just fine.

I can't believe how many review samples are coming in. Anyone else feeling swamped with reviews? I got another one delivered today.
I can honestly say that my amount of reviews is a very manageable number. That number is zero. Because nobody cares what I have to say about their products.
