Might want to check one of these options as it might end up being cheaper for you. I threw in the Abyss and one of the kits in the cart at ElementVape and it came out to $140.xx before all of shipping was included. At MyVPro, you can get the AIO kit for $106 with S&H included. Or $100 at HC.
Dovpo x Suicide Mods Abyss AIO Kit $99.99 - Vaping Cheap Deals

Good looking out. I ended up getting it from EV. I got it and the Top Gear and a few accessories for the Abyss so that I met the requirement to get the $60 off. With the discount factored in, the Abyss was approx $100. AND I was able to get one of the cool new colors - Nato. Sa-weet! (MyVPro only has the three original colors). Shipping was free but they charged a signature verification fee which sucked. I don't think the buyer should carry that burden, it should be the retailers'. Something else that sucked, EV was sold out of the Abyss 510 adapter so I'll have to look for that. I don't think it could cost Dovpo more than $2 dollars to manufacture those three pieces so could you imagine the perceived value-add if they included it with the kit? What a marketing blunder. I did get the Ether rba kit so it won't just be a pretty brick on my shelf. As an aside, I figure since it's a domestic purchase, it might come next week. That'll feel weird and unreal after waiting two months for my FT orders.

I hope you were able to apply a coupon on top of that, or was the auto discount a code in itself? I hate when the code is like "free shipping" - thanks ya jackazzes, what a nice compensation for spending over $100 at your store. Oh, and I still have to pay for an adult signature, lol. That :censored: amazes me, lol. The buyer really shouldn't carry that burden being we get charged separately for SHIPPING AND HANDLING which is where the adult signature is required? Knock knock - who's there? Not your brain. I'm thoroughly convinced its their way of making a few more dollars from each transaction. Like 99% sure. It's like finding great deals/prices at HC and then getting to your cart and seeing your S&H at almost $50, and that's sticking to shipping from a single warehouse... seriously...?

On the bright side, yes, you'll receive it much quicker which I guess in some cases, makes it worth the while to spend a few extra dollars. I don't mind the wait honestly, if it can save me a few bucks. Those few bucks over 20 or so transactions adds up to lost funds for more fun stuff, lol. How much did you get the Top Gear for?

Probably less than $2 for the materials, but the cost of employment, factory operations, machine purchases, CAD work, and the inflated name brand is where the rest of the $20, or whatever you'll end up paying for it, comes from.

They have three tiers of discounts depending on how much you spend. I spent just enough to get the $60 one. And with that factored in, it bested the cheapest prices even in Asia. I think the Abyss had a white hot initial run, and their 2nd run flew off the shelves too. So there wasn't a need to offer lower price incentives to boost sales. I was surprised the new colors didn't succumb to a buyers frenzy. I'm guessing EV is Dovpo's major US distributor and got the lion's share of available Abysseseese. (Abyssi?).

As far as shipping, there's no banner proclaiming it, but "Free Shipping" was an option you earned if you spent over $100. And even then, you had to select "Free Shipping" otherwise the automatic default was $8. Like why does it have to even be an option you have to select??? Who in their right mind says "Uh yeah, just chuck an extra $8 for ol' times sake there buddy". And that's not even considering the separate $6 Signature Verification fee which you can't get out of.

The Top Gear was $139. With the discount factored in, it matched MyVPro with their discount for the Top Gear.

But bottom line, I wouldn't have purchased either of these mods without the great incentive of EV's pretty good Memorial Day discount.

It's $13.50 for the black one on their site. If all those things you mentioned were to produce just a few items, perhaps, but when it goes into mass production, and is mass produced among the many other more complicated and intricate things they mass produce, I doubt their cost + marketing, comes anywhere close to $20/$13.50. I think it's closer to $2. Really, these three items look like something you should be able to find in a hardware store. And the hardware store would probably sell it for $5, and only because they have to throw their profit on top.

But hey, I'm still going to scour the net for one. And I'll end up with one. :toast:

Well, that's how they get you on rebates and unawareness. They get paid extra if you're too lazy to be observant. Example, like the $3.30 that was added to my purchase just now at VapeSourcing. It really isn't about the money, because I don't care about $3.30 in the long run. The part that pisses me off is that you advertise for one thing, and then try to slyly fool me by charging me more, even after I jumped through all your hoops and hurdles. I know what the total amount said and that's not what I was charged for. Nah :censored:, not me. I'm hoping others are paying attention to what their final statement amount is in the cart and what they're being billed for.

You sound like my late husband. If I had a dime for every time he said “It’s 2 cents worth of plastic and they want $10 for it!” I’d always reply Yes and a car is $150 of metal...

I think CH is Acorn too. Or was, if it’s not still there.
I didn't find it there. Must have been removed. Or I made a mistake. No matter. It's not as though I don't have seven trillion things to watch. I do like Aaron Pedersen, though.

Haahaa. But on that note, do you remember the Ford Pinto? That was my dad’s first car. $2000 to drive it off the lot and park it in your driveway. How in the world has the automotive industry get us to accept $50,000 (likely more) for a nice car as standard???
