I want to rewrap my sketchy batteries but I’m intimidated with the idea of rewrapping. I’m thinking my skin will complete the circuit and the battery will blow up. Is rewrapping safe? The battery won’t blow up on me?
I'm terrified of electricity and I manage fine. I use a hair blowdryer for my heat source.

    Good morning shinies

All this talk about Nut sacs and tactical bags is making me worried. .. are we forming a possie? :D

Have a great day everyone

    Good Morning Charlie:wub:

I'll be standing firm and holding onto my Nut Saco_O

You'll be standing firm, or you will be standing firm? :danger:

Of course...it won't matter on the forum as no one will be able to hear your high voice.

PS...I'll be holding onto my Florentine nut sac too :D

I'll certainly be standing firm...the crossover type can still swing in high winds :D

A cultured nut sac I see. Nice.

Does it swing like one of those big balloons with the weight on the bottom, that you punch when it pops back up?

Good question. But a bigger question - would it be considered a nut possie, or a sac possie? A nut sac possie just has too many syllables in it.

That's just unrealistic. That killer whale should be like at least 3x as big as it is based on its surroundings. Also, have you ever seen picture's of a whale's member inverted out of water? A scary Nessy monster indeed.

I feel your deviant pain :D

Especially if the balloon is blue. >.>

Only four.....and would a two man possie cut it?

    I thiu

I thought it was a car at first glance!!

Only if you're planning on not having anymore kids.

Well, if you scanned the picture from right to left, I can see that, lol.

You really must stop this testicular thinking....frankly I'm shocked.....oh to be young again

Erie is the most shallow of them, and it doesn’t take much to whip it into a frenzy. I think in ‘my side’ it’s only about 60’ deep, and they reported waves of 15’. The marinas looked like Godzilla had paid a visit. Nobody was hurt that I’ve heard. People like to talk about tornadoes, but those north winds can be just as scary, especially by the lake.

I only do it as a show of testicular fortitude.

oh dear i haven't looked thru_ what the bal_ people how did this get so out of__ what am i saying i didnt mean to i'm sorry i'm sorry who turned this sidewa__ no no NO! everything is basketballs now

Well I’m going to try again with that Abyss. The battery I had in it, that I red X’d, charged alright so I’ll pop it in a Dot and see how it lasts.

I figured the Dot would be the closest set up I have on hand and use enough to know how it should function.

It still takes me five tries to get that top on so if anyone has any pointers...

I really want to have a good relationship with this thing - and I love the ether.
When you set the top on, apply pressure using your thumb directly down on top of the battery while you spin the top with your other hand - don't grip the handle portion of it, just use 1 finger pointed downward to give it a lateral push to catch the threads. Is this the problem that you're having?

How did you learn to do it? YouTube? I want to rewrap some tore up batteries but I’m intimidated. I imagine a scenario where batteries are exploding in my living room.
I would say to make sure you're keeping them far away from each other in case you drop an unwrapped battery or something. Other than that, you should be fine.

There's no doubt the battery cover is a clunky design but you'll get the hang of it.
Make sure the mod is on a table top and upright, then set the battery cover at right angles to the mod, put gentle pressure on the battery side, and holding it flat, swivel it across to snap in place over the tank. It's kind of one motion.
Use your other hand to hold the tank down on its spring-loaded contact.
Can you not start the threading before running into where the tank is?

I'm torn... should I get a VooPoo Drag X Plus or a YiHi SXmini X Class? I'm not even all that interested in the squonk, because from what I read - it's pretty lackluster with its small size and battery usage. More interested in the performance of the chip.

Watch some videos and get yourself one of these. I understand your nervousness, but it's really very quick and easy to do.

Whoo, thanks for the reassurance. I’m going to try it. If you see something on the news about a mushroom cloud seen in Florida, that’s just me and my living room getting toasty.

    Somewhere between here and there
I just got an email from someone at Sourcemore asking if I’d like to review for them. I said I already do. Lol. I wonder if they’re giving their employees a bonus for collecting reviewers or something.

    I got the same message

I think those of us that review for Sourcemore now have a new brand rep DeloresRose.

I was terrified the first time I wrapped a battery. Turns out the biggest pita is keeping the top ring on. I always start at the top now.
