Yep....slow is good imo....it's kind of normal especially in these times with all the supply chain management problems.

Yes, I’m dealing with delays every day at work trying to get repair parts from the manufacturer that I do warranty repair for.

If it helps @hittman this is the build that has been working for me in the Ether at around 28W.
It's a 3mm ID, 2*28/36 Ni80 fused clapton. About 0.5 Ohms. I run it with the widest open af insert.
I wick with plenty of cotton.

EDIT : legs trimmed after this photo!!

Thanks. I went with the largest insert also. I put in a 3mm 316 mtl Clapton coil. I had a roll of geekvape wire I’ve been meaning to try. The coil came out to .64. I think I put in too much cotton though because the flavor gets weak if I take 2-3 puffs in a row. I’ll rewick it after I get a little more time with it.

Defo better with a 2.5 id. Still plenty of cotton but I've never had any wicking issues. If you're using a 3mm I'd tease the ends out a bit and don't over stuff the wicking channels...."stuffin the muffin" as @AngeNZ puts it :)

Thank you. The nord coils do fine for what I use them 1.4 and 0.8 Mtl. I just worry about leaking. Haven’t had any to leak yet tho. I’m gonna get a pack of the rdl 0.6 and try. Are those pretty airy? As that’s what I’m looking for.

.6 is what I use. Haven’t had any leaking - my juice is 30/70

Just received my Nord and Bp coils in preparation for the edge. The nords are 0.6 RDL also.... RS is it or XS?? I also got some 0.3 but that's below my sweet spot these days.... looking forward to trying them in the Boxx and my second Abyss.

No idea on the the RS/XS. I got these last time, came in a bag, no box, no markings lol. $10.72 Replacement Mesh Coil Head for SMOK Nord (10-Pack) 10-pack - 0.6ohm at FastTech - Free Shipping

My take on lower coils, I like .4 and lower, but no point in them for anything less than giant air tanks. Any restriction and the coil doesn’t perform right.

I’m at 23.5 watts with the airflow open all the way. Definitely need to thin the tails next time. I definitely like it better with the abyss top and a little longer drip tip than the one that came with the ether.

Yes.....I run my 0.5 ohm coils at around 17 watts...airflow same, A little higher wattage with fruits and less sweet Mixxes. Totally agree about the supplied drip tips....I rarely like the supplied drip tips on anything :)

I prefer 3mm ID coils with the 3mm AF insert for the Ether. Never once had wicking issues with the 3mm ID and like the way the bigger coil restricts the air a bit.
I'm open all the way and if anything I'd like a touch more air. Why not try a 2.5 and close the airflow a bit?

The Asmodus site is closed. There's an announcement that their retail store is closed and to forward any inquiries to a company in Shenzen. Very sad times. They made absolutely gorgeous and affordable stabwood mods. They also made great tanks, and great regulated mods. Your Asmodus stabwoods are now heirlooms. Cherish them. :(

I don't think so... they'll just carry on in China.
