Well the Abyss will just sit there looking nice for you.
Totally agree about cars.... doesn't matter how good you are.... there's always stripped knuckles and a bolt/screw/nut that needs an oxy-acetyline torch :)

We bought the car for her in high school and she's still driving it a year or two after college. We have done quite a bit of work on it in the past. About a year or so ago my brother in law who's a pretty good mechanic came over and helped me put struts and sway bar end links on it. It should be pretty solid mechanically but it's getting really old. I'd really like to see her get something newer but don't plan on paying for the next one.

Maybe it just needs a new battery, or a new coil.

What happened was that she had a dead battery and someone tried jump starting her with a cheap set of cables. The cables melted and her radio and 12v power outlet stopped working. She lives about 3 hours away but was home for a few days. Her boyfriend was supposed to check the fuses but she was working ten hour days all week and he's not good at fixing stuff so I got to look at it when she got home. She already had the battery replaced. It blew one fuse in the fuse panel then I had to take the stereo out and replace the 10 amp fuse in the back of the radio. Of course it had to be 90 degrees outside while I worked on it.

when I last lived in So Cal and went to Paramount CA to the Asmodus warehouse, (met Nicco) and bought the almighty rotten metal Minikin dirt cheap from them, they referred to their "other store" Vaporrange which was blocks away. That is all I know. I assume at one time they were connected, or maybe they just used Vaporange as one of the outlets to sell gear.

I’ll concede. But it’s weird, after Asmodus’s discount, the Minkin V3S comes out to around $36. VR sells it for

I’ll concede. But it’s weird, Asmodus’s price on the Minikin V3S, after their discount, was about $36. VR has it for $50 so even with their 15% discount, that’s $42.50. I would think VR would at least match As’s lowest price. I was contemplating another white V3S and when I went to the As’s site, I found they were already shut down. So I went on VR’s site and found the V3S, but for the higher price. I couldn’t pull the trigger. :(

So all it needs is a new coil then. (j/k, don't replace the solenoid)

You are a true gentleman and a scholar. I say this because you remind me of my Dad, who's always more than willingly helped me with these kinds of things. <3

Sad, what about it isn't working for you?
It’s one of those I can’t really explain. It’s a nice mod and I was super excited to get it. For some reason tho after I use it a couple days it always ends up on my shelf. It could be the whole squonking thing. I enjoy Rta’s so I’m gonna have to be careful or I’m gonna have a buddy sitting on the shelf beside my topside.

Could always get an RTA that has squonking capabilities. That way the "squonk" plays more of a reserve role, than a frontline necessity. An "Oh :censored:, I ran out of juice. That's fine, I can just squonk until I get to the next rest stop." kinda deal. Also gives you the ability to mix juices on a whim, say for example - you like menthol sometimes.

I did see that, but that's a $15 squonk pin minus the S&H. I think I can hold off until a different solution, hopefully on FT, is figured out. I'm also not sure about the clones - lots and lots of reports of the positive post being extremely fragile. I realize you get what you pay for, but there are tons of tanks for the same price that function perfectly fine.

Also a side note on the build design. I'm surprised more decks haven't implemented the chimneys that you see on the Kennedy. It would appear that most new decks gear towards and advertise "a big build deck", or low profiles, but longer channeled air flow is always going to flow better than short/open channels. That's particularly one thing that I like about the Kennedy's design.
