Sounds like you are having tons of fun with your e-bikes. Way to go! :)

Shiny folk, this is all off topic, so cruise on by if looking for vape stuff. TY :pervy:

So my trips up into the north woods... The gal up there is a longtime friend of ours. We all used to hang around from our young days on. And we all went to the same elementary and high schools together. Funny but true, she was one of my early girlfriends. Lol. It was her, my wife and another gal (also one of my early girlfriends, she breeds and trains GSD's). We were the 4 amigo's and did nearly everything together. ;)

Anyhow, the gal up north got into horse training at a young age and is really good at it. Very kind and compassionate in her ways. She has taken so-called trouble horses, that otherwise would have been put down, and brought them out of their shells. Uses only bitless bridles as they are far more humane and much easier on a horse. I call her a horse whisperer but she hates that name with a passion. She hauls off and smacks me whenever I call her that. Lol. In addition to training she boards some horses. Her business is all word of mouth. She is also an artist and a musician.

The wife and I used to go up to her place to help out and ride several times a year. Since I lost my wife the Dog, Cat and I still head there a few times each year. It's pretty secluded. No city in the near. No traffic, no air traffic and no people - perfect. I love horses and had an uncle who trained them. Learned to ride as a youngster. Both bareback and on a saddle. Can't do bareback anymore.

Most of my time on this last trip was spent helping with the never ending chores. We rode a couple times each day. Totally awesome. On clear nights up that way you can see like zillions of stars and constellations. I can't see but a few in the city with all the dumb lights. There were a few nights that we put out some hay, as like a lounger, put some blankets over that and laid out all night just watching the stars and taking in the many sounds of nature. Very nice and super relaxing.

@Pigs would love bringing his Pro Tools mobile kit and professionally recording all the different morning and evening sounds. Some directional and ambient mics would work miracles. :D

On one of our early morning rides she stopped and looked ahead somewhere in the distance. She pulled up her binoculars and whispered "wolves". Handed me the binoculars and sure enough I managed to catch a fleeting glimpse of a pack. They were difficult to see but you could make them out. That was a very special treat. Wolves are very smart and super stealthy. If they don't want to be seen or heard, you will not know they are around. There are also black bears up there. Even a small cougar population though rarely ever seen by people. You need decent trail cams and know where to place them to catch those.

As far as any recent times pics, nope. I haven't taken any up there since I used to have a 35mm camera. I do have photos in a box somewhere in my house. The last time I was up there I lost my smartphone. Found it two days later in the yard. Ever since then I just leave it on a table at the house when I go out. My carriers cell reception is spotty to horrible.

It's just her, her two daughters and one of their BF's who run the place. The older one is really good with training horses. So, she wants me to come back up for the rest of the summer. I would love to but I do have a home and need to find someone to do the yard work and stuff. We've talked about me selling, or renting, my house and moving up there. But I've had this home for just over 30 years, and yeah, memories and all that jazz. If it wasn't for that I would have been living there already. ;) So IDK, we'll see.

Sounds like an amazing adventure SMT. Maybe you could find a friend to house sit for a couple of months while you head back up there, that way you could see if you wanted to make the big move. They'll have to fix up their internet though. Can't have you MIA for too long.;)

I've been doing reviews for them on and off for a while. I just did the Marvos pod mod a short time ago and they supposedly have two more in the works that they want me to review. The coils I've tried of theirs give great flavor. I've always enjoyed reviewing their stuff.

I was wondering if you reviewed for them. Please understand that I will try not to read yours before I write mine. I just feel like that’s unfair and I should do my own homework rather than look over your shoulder. :)

Crazy idea folks, now hear me out:

Was thinking about a road trip,so how about this,we form a ''pool'' lottery wise i mean.

So the idea is this,we form a pact and whoever wins the lottery (big numbers i mean, high 6 figures or low 7 figures) has to get the caravan (rent or buy) and procure plane tickets for the rest (none lottery winners) so we can go and visit @Daniel Forsyth

Why Daniel you may ask?

Well first i do not trust him,it is not humanly possible to own that many Asmodus...i am guessing he is a computer specialist and its all CGI.

Second, never been to Australia so that is another reason to go.

So i am guessing @ShowMeTwice you on board with the idea?

I am guessing we can fit 6 or 8 of us in one of those big motorhomes so come on folks, who wants in this little pact of mine?

Could be a cool adventure ;)
Count me in. No commercial airlines, nope. Too many dumb rulez AND too many people. Whoever wins the Big Lottery can afford to lease a decent sized private jet for the trip with all 1st class accommodations for everyone.

And I have the puuuurfect bus for us. It will sleep 6-8 very easily, more in a bunk configuration. We need to start off in Sydney to pickup @Pigs and his blue water toilet for @Redbird11. Then cruise to pickup @Boudica (where you been, you are missed :)). I am forgetting another Aussie lady, the one holding the critter in her hands (I hate it when I forget user names ). I think she is up around Daniel's area of OZ. Da plane might as well pickup Ange and Fred from the NZ too.

I'll drive the bus... ...seatbelts pleaze.

It sounds like you had a wonderfully peaceful break.

I wonder how much it is to rent a jet? Or would you say charter? I don’t come from private jet rich people, this is way outside my wheelhouse.

I ran that through my universal translator. It said "in non implified simplified standardized (normal)" English, Pigs package will likely be delivered first.

Why not come over on the Azzam. I just bought it last week when I was doing some online shopping.

Yes, charter, that's the word I was looking for.

NetJets charges around $5,000 per flying hour. If it's about 20 hours from LA to OZ that would run $100,000. Piece of cake for whoever wins the lottery. :D

NYC to LA via StratosJets would be $31,000 in an 8-seat Challenger 300. The Challenger 300 is an ultra-comfortable wide-body aircraft that can fly NYC to LA without stopping.

Whoa... screw the cramped up MRI like jet. Yes, please send her over. I'll even tip the captain.
One of @Redbird11 's many skills is his mastery of the high seas. They don't call him Captain Smoothie for nothing.

Look at you Mr. High Roller! All hail Sheikh Pigs!

Hmmm... I would have serious problems trying to select a chair to sit on in that room. Actually no, if that's a saltwater tank, way down yonder, I'll park my .... and vapes there.

And ummm, what level is the recording studio on? I mean, I was planning on bringing a Kurzweil kybd and MacBook with a partial sample library, a guitar and my tenor sax. Knowing you, I'm sure you have the ship studio setup for remote recording sessions. ;)

And I will bring along my collection of vintage kazoos. We can jam!
