Quick pop in to say hi:

mr-bean-funny.gif

Busy as usual, hate not being able to be more active here but i am just stressed out.
Haven't slept much this past week so i just binge-watched all 5 seasons of Southland (awesome cop show).
Finally done with that so i started with The Newsroom (probably watched that like 10 or 12 times hehe).

Meeting tomorrow with the Urologist, pops PSA numbers are good i mean they have been solid these past months so i am still fighting for him to get a kidney transplant but he is 76 so it is not looking so good.
On top of that the whole ''identity theft'' thing is a hassle, paperwork, meetings with the lawyer and the attorney and just a whole lot of trouble,meh...got nothing in my name so yeah i am not really worried, just mad at all these hoops i have to jump thru.

On the shiny front i am waiting for confirmation on some new goodies to review,a Vapefly Kriemhild 2 Sub Ohm tank,Vandy Vape Jackaroo Mini Kit (loved my Jackaroo until i dropped it) and with some luck a Vandy Vape Kylin M Pro RTA.

Really hyped about the Jackaroo Kit and specially the Kylin M Pro RTA...it's top airflow (just the way i like it) and it's also mesh which i never used.

I like doing reviews of apparatus i have never used before like the Pulse V2 for example, never squonked so it's always nice to get the perspective of someone who hasn't tried something like that before.

Apart from that not much to tell...hope everyone is ok you know healthy and keeping safe.

Huge hug from your Spanish amigo to all you fellow vaperinos.

P.S: checking my lotto numbers tomorrow,if i win our ''reunion'' is on so better get your vaping gear and tequila bottles ready cause we doing a road trip baby!!

I remember when I took my seat on the plane I was shivering like a leaf....thinking what the hell am I doing.
Now I don't want to go back..even for a visit....well maybe some day.

You’re talking to a person who hasn’t left her county - county, not country - in almost 2 years. So I have mad respect for you. May I ask, why did you go?

We used to travel more before the kids started college. One graduated the same year as the next started so we’ve got two more years left out of eight where we’re trying to cover as much as we can of college expenses. We saved for both kids since they were young but it wasn’t nearly enough. Both will finish with small student loans.

I hope you win that lottery. Can't think of anyone who deserves it more. Besides, I'm pulling for that reunion, and you getting your custom camper (road trip baby). Hang in there and keep your chin up. {{{Hugs}}} right back at ya Javi. :)

With the talk about batteries, I remembered that I bought a couple of Hohm batteries to try. I hadn’t really noticed any difference yet.

Has Mooch done any reviews or testing on them?

I honestly don’t think I’d be able to notice how one performs over another. I obviously know when they’re getting old because they need to be recharged more often. Plus I have the date of when i started using them. But for safety and comparing them I’m clueless!! I’ll rely on mooch.
Has anybody ever checked out his YouTube videos on battery safety and performance? I think they are uploaded on this forum as well. My idea of #PublicService

They’re breally really good. I’m a bit nerdy so I like knowing how things work. They are a bit scary which can be a good thing when handling explosive devices like these batteries.

The Holmes batteries seem quite popular with a lot of vapers I know before I get on my battery safety soapbox lol!!

Have you used them before? I’d like to know more about them. Is the price comparable to Molicels and Samsung’s? I guess I could get off my .... ad look that up myself lol!

well I’m glad you posted abt them so I’ve got something different to browse the web for!! My life is boring lol!!!

The Brunhilde is my most flavorful RTA..no doubt. But I suppose because it hasn't got an chimney it technically isn't a RTA. I just did some chain vaping on it, and it don't feel that hot....maybe because my head is zooming...and yeah, then there's that rewicking thing :D
But the flavor being soooo good, I forgive it for everything.
My problem is..I'm worried that it might've been your best berry bomber...but because you didn't have it, you never knew :w00t:. I don't know if I can live with that Ange. I just want your life to be as complete as possible

Tell ya wat....it's only $58...that's about your monthly spend on driptips :p
    https://www.nakinekta.co.nz/flavours/Vapefly-Brunhilde-MTL-RTA-p201119357
    Get one...give it a whirl...you don't like it..i'll buy from you...i'll pay the postage to ;)

The other option is the Arise. According to everybody it makes very good flavor...and it's a proper RTA with a deck at the bottom, and a chimney. I've ordered the YFTK one from 3F.
I still don't see it making better flavor than the Brunhilde though. My opinion (for what it's worth) is a chimney mutes flavor. The Brunhilde makes that beautiful flavor because it don't have the chimney.
I think the reason the Dvarw and Arise makes such good flavor (even though they have chimneys) is because their liquid flows down to the coil...keeping the coil saturated to the max....dunno, just my opinion.

I really, really appreciate the thought and the offer

For me, an rba has to have flavour - but it also needs to be a quick nappy changer (technical term). And as cool as possible. I've got RDTAs that I'm not using, despite amazing flavour due to those factors. And I don't feel I'm missing out - I'm just impatient with rewicking, and like things easy.

So I'm still saying no to the the Brunhilde Brigade

I see it as a RTA with RDA flavor. Because of the st st ropes, I don't have to stick my cotton in the holes (I hate that with RDTAs), but yeah technically it is a RDTA.
I think to eliminate any confusion it can be called a RDTARTARDA

You need a better word. All I see is a Tart!

ALL this talk about Dwarvs and Brunnys again :w00t: ! It’s making me crazy that everyone keeps talking about the great flavor.

I haven’t much interest in the very tall Brunny sorry it just doesn’t do it for me. I know I shouldn’t use aesthetics as a qualifier but I do. And I think most people do as well whether or not they admit it :thumb:

So who here uses a Dwarv for DL? And is this the atty that everyone was discussing about the parts and air holes etc etc…

The more a device has options then I go a bit into overdrive which isn’t such a good thing for me.

So now in qualifying an atty based not only on looks but also if it has too many options that might make me too “focused” or get tunnel vision. I’m hoping some of you will know what I’m saying.

So id like to be part of the crowd too if it does a moderate or high airflow :w00t: !!!

If you haven't already, look at the new QP Designs Juggerknot MR RTA.

As for the Dvarw DL - largest airflow insert is 4.5mm id in the older one:
    PC
$18.33 Dvarw DL V3 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 3.5/6ml / 316 stainless steel / 24mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping
    Or the PEI:
$12.38 Dvarw DL V3 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 6ml / 316 stainless steel + PEI / 24mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping

In the newer glass one, it's a 2*2.5mm id insert which is equiv. to a 3.54mm id single hole. This version has ridges on the posts, so anything over a small dual-core fused clapton will be easy to install.
    $10.99 Dvarw DL FL Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 5ml (24*21mm (OD*ID)) / 316 stainless steel + glass / 24mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping

I haven’t tried them before. I think they are just a little more than I’ve paid for the molicel batteries. I just wanted to try a couple to see how they were.

ok thanks! I’ve been buying and using the molicell batteries both 18650 and 21700 since the start of 2021. I like them but like I said I really don’t know a good one from a bad one so I’m not much help!!!

Yeah not in a million years would I have ever thought i'll leave Africa. I love Africa. If you love the bush then there's nothing like it, for sure. I had a good lifestyle over there. We were 3 batchelors living together. Fishing and party was the main priorities. I'm not much of a party person, but was kinda dragged into it. Fishing was my main thing. I went camping/fishing almost every weekend...all over SA and Botswana.
Then someday this girl (SAn living in NZ) visited...we connected and she invited me to visit NZ. I accepted and she rented us a camper van. We toured the South island and I fell in love with everything here....fantastic girl, fantastic country...and many more places to fish :D
I went back and shocked the hell outa everybody when I told them i'm leaving. I never had a doubt...until I sat down in that plane seat...:w00t:
It all turned out very well though. Not one single day have I ever thought I maybe made a mistake. Truelly I can't speak enough of this country. The attitude of the people here (in general) is so laid back and relaxed...so accomodating and most important soooo unassuming . This for me is how life should be.

Yeah i'm a simple man....less is best. This recipe works for me. Been working on it for just more than a year now
    7% Extracted tobacco
    2% FW Caramel
    2% TFA Pistachio
I tried Vanilla, Custard, Sugar Cookie and Graham Cracker but after a lengthy process of elimination ended with just the three flavors.
This will do me for a while :thumb:

You mean English grammar is more complicated, right? French is pretty straightforward. Not as straightforward as Italian or Spanish, but still a breeze compared to English.
Nope.....even my French friends agree that there are way too many specific irregular conjugations that they don't understand. In some ways it's simple....in other ways not so much.
