I’m scared of spiders so the pictures are giving me the willies.Waddya mean? She's perty.
Gotcha. So much fun - we had a creek under a local foot bridge near us when we were kids. We called it The Frog Place. These days most kids can't take their faces away from their screens long enough to bother exploring. Makes me sad to think how much they miss.
I've got a frog pond in my back yard so when my boy was about 7 or 8, I set up a couple of aquariums at his local school and we filled them with eggs. We put them in a corridor outside the classrooms so the kids could watch the whole life cycle. Was so cool to see them crowding around the tanks and yelping with excitement when they spotted the first little wriggly tadpoles, and later the first back legs poking through, and soon enough the little froglets taking shape.
We taught them how to feed the tadpoles small amounts of lettuce, and later live crickets. I introduced some little water snails to keep the glass clean and a couple of freshwater muscles to help filter the water.
Old-school kids. Good for them. When my granddaughter (15) was staying with me a couple weeks ago, she was endlessly entertained by catching toads. Many of them were small as the eraser on the end of a pencil.
The picture is the littlest, 6 years old, when her big sister was teaching her to catch them.
A lot of kids just don’t get the opportunity or encouragement to experience nature. I think most of them enjoy it, when they get out there. View attachment 957109
I don't have any of those apps. Out of curiosity, why do you need to know UA flight 996633 is flying overhead and where it's going? Are you a plane watcher? I used to like going to the airport and watch the planes land and take off. I always wanted to learn how to fly a plane.i have an app that id’s bugs & spiders (I’m HIGHLY allergic) then another for bird ID and a plane tracker so I know who’s flying overhead and where they’re going!!
Morning SMT. I haven't come across Regency Vapour but will do some digging and get back to you.@Pigs, @Daniel Forsyth are either of you familiar with Regency Vapour in Sydney? Are they a decent company?
They have authentic Haku Venna's. I am seriously thinking of buying one before they're no longer available. The Venna is becoming harder to find these days. Getting it from OZ is a lot cheaper with the exchange rates versus the couple places I've found in Europe.
Regency Vapour ships here via DHL, perfect.
Haku recently released the Duet RDA but it is airier versus the Venna.

Even though she still looks pregnant, Gemma (ex pet lamb) has had this year's cute twins.
My animal camera work is very much a work in progress

@NolaMel From my counting, this is the fourth set of floppy ear twins!
Though she's such a madam on the farm, that her having twins each year is her only saving grace from my BIL![]()
