Hey Katty Katz. Awfully nice to see you again. Plz stay a while before you continue on your migration ;)
One question plz...what's your thoughts on the Brunhilde MTL :D?
I don't think @Katya received her Brunhilde MTL rta and Brunhilde SbS yet. Pretty sure Katya just ordered them last week.

The Brunhilde Brigade grows. :D

Just a few stragglers remaining. We're patient.

So you're saying you like glass? How about a dizzying view from a cloud-busting 1,300ft up on the Sears Tower (now Willis Tower). The observation perches have walls, floors, and ceilings made entirely of glass, allowing visitors to jut out from the edge of the building to enjoy a unique and vertigo-worthy view of Chicago’s architectural landscape. I loved it. The wife refused to go anywhere near it.

    Not my pics.

    It was great fun. :D

I've been there. My daughter, who was 8 at the time, did fine. I lasted 30 seconds and clutched her hand hard enough to leave marks. There was a photographer who took our picture and in it my eyes are so wide open it looked like I'd seen a ghost.

I have both been and puked in that glass cage of death . View from the tower is spectacular, with your back smashed against the inner wall INSIDE. I did creep close enough to peek over Himself’s shoulder at the end….

    Morning/evening Shinies

I had a response from 3Avape. Apparently my spools of wire are still in transit. They have asked the carrier to update their shipping info. Now 17track says France...delivered  but they've given me another tracking number which should track properly when it arrives in France :thumb:

Brunhilde is stuck in customs and still waiting for the Kumo pre-order.

    Have a good one

I missed the original post. What wire are you getting?

    If I'm not mistaken it's Ni80 30*3/38 on the spool:thumb:
    Thanks Dan.

Speaking of wire - I need some advice.
Been using this Ni80 fused clapton wire in my boro rdas and my Dvarws for a while:

    $4.20 Authentic Ni80 Heating Wire - 28*2/36 AWG / 0.32mm*2/0.12mm dia. / 2.6ohm/ft / 10ft at FastTech - Free Shipping

I want to lower the resistance a notch so that a 5 wrap 2.5mm ID Ni80 fused clapton would be closer to 0.35 or 0.4 Ohms (currently closer to 0.55Ohms). Can you recommend a spool for me? I like Ni80 for the fast ramp up time but wouldn't mind getting some SS fused clapton or alien wire as an option.

Any suggestions? Has to be from a Chinese or Aus/NZ vendor.
I know @AngeNZ has a good bead on different wire types.

Leave it with me Mate and I'll have a bit of a think about it. Hopefully I can muster up an appropriate gauge for you:)
As you did say there though Ange has wire on the braino_O

The feeling is mutual I'm sure. No migration this year either. We're locked down.

Do you promise not to tell? If I happen to like it, I'm never going to live that one down.
