I found this little pocket magnifying glass for 5 bucks in a bargain bin at a stationary store today. It is so handy - got a nice bright little led and slips into a pocket. Good for checking out builds (or for spider IDs ;)).
Photos don't give a true indication of the clarity and magnification.

Awwww T, and I was going to ask if you wanted to come for a visit in February with a good foot, or more, of snow (and ice) along with our tropical winter temps below -18C.

Hmmm, just guessing based on your single emoticon reply, that's a very firm No. :lol: Just so ya know, I do have heat in my home. Along with extra winter coats, boots, gloves, knit caps also hand and feet warmers. And very thick winter blankets (I never use).

Winters here are great fun! It is a true winter paradise.

<amenities include, but are not limited to the following>

<dvarw's and squonker's>
<free open DIY bar>
<warm homemade chili>
<and hot chocolate>
<no fireplace>
<bonus = a Brunhilde rta>
<bonus+++, many others to choose from>

:D
See you in a coupla months J!! Carli can keep me warm if the heating breaks down.

Carli will absolutely keep you warm. She loves to cuddle. Sometimes I have to lovingly and gently push her slightly away cuz she generates a ton of heat.

I have many candles, of all sizes, in case the furnace breaks down. :D

    Morning shinies ;)

    well the claymore is big flavor and big clouds/air if opened up wide. A 22mm rda can do that. Comes with two drip tips. One is lower profile than then the other.

    It’s SO SIMPLE to build it’s almost embarrassing lol!! It’s perfect for any small single battery mod which seem to be very popular here.

    I just received more vape mail and a Geekvape snuck it’s way around border control because now I have the S100 in fuzzy grey. I ONLY bought it because I thought it was cute - whatever :pervy: ! They cost next to nothing because I bought three. Unknowingly !!

    Perfect! I saw somewhere that the Claymore RDA has a cooler cap, due to the material or something it uses. Notice much difference?

    im not sure if it’s made of delrin or plastic but it stays MUCH cooler than the Entheon despite the small size. The AFC can be adjusted as well.

    I’m a big fan of the Entheon and this Claymore feels similar if not slightly more flavorful.

    I think I could get more flavor if I raised the coil a bit more but there’s only so much room between the coil and the drip tip. And there’s spitting if too close to mouth.

    I sometimes get burning hot embers sparking my mouth w the Entheon lol! The Claymore has done that at all.

    O forgot how much I paid for them. I ended up with 3. If you can’t find one I’ll send you one of mine. I really don’t need (or want) three of them. I keep my daily atty rotation with a broad range of different styles.

    I sometimes order things not remembering that I either already had one or had accidentally ordered too many lol!!

    Every time I see someone post about the claymore RDA I am reminded of the M18A1 claymore mine. For me, an RDA named after a mine, that explodes, is a total no-go. :)

    I knew there’s a claymore mine but didn’t think of the connection and blowing up :cry:

    So I’ve got a lot of vape mail in the past weeks as part of the continuing buy one more ______ and then I’ll be set for life. Of course I’ve got enough to start a Vape Emporium l!!

    I’ll start with these 2 stabwoods from Stabwood Mods UK.

    The 1st is a Casper by DPM and is a squonker with single battery. I haven’t set it up yet but the mod looks perfect. Has a great finish very professionally done. Great hand feel!!

    Next in line is an Ultroner Victory. Another single battery mod. And looks well made also.

    So both mods are a hit with me. I’m looking forward to trying out the Casper squonker soon.

    Not to dredge up ancient history... nor to debate... but for full and complete disclosure so @Fidola13 knows the whole story about the Mechlyfe Paramour SBS...

    @Nailz and I received complete duds where the piss poor flawed design of the Paramour causes the 510 assembly to repeatedly loosen all on its own. My opinion, and Nailz too, is that the Paramour is complete junk.

    There are much higher quality SBS mods, for around the same price, that are vastly superior to the Paramour (Mixx, Brunhilde, College).

    I know full well that Nailz and I are just as careful with our gear as any in this thread. :)

    Finally! I may have decided not to purchase it after reading this. And you’re correct- I keep great care for my vape hardware etc…

    To be honest I wasn’t so into the SBSs available and decided to spend no more than $30 for one.

    Heartland is selling it again. I got another liter a few weeks ago.

    Heartlands has been my choice for nicotine for a few years now. Great price and nice & clear finish.

    Unfortunately they were all out of 100 mgs of nicotine with PG as it’s base. The VG nicotine is available or a 50/50 mix of pg:vg

    Good for you Sarah! :thumbs: You will find something that suits you much better.

    Here is a little more of the Paramour Saga...

    A while back Nailz and I bought our Paramours, those did not last long at all before they broke on their own. Charlie and Pigs then bought theirs, those were ok.

    At that specific point in time one easily made the very accurate assessment stating the Paramour had a 50% failure rate. 4 Paramour's, 2 duds and 2 ok.

    Others here have, in the side-by-side thread, mentioned buying one until I informed them of the Paramour's very poor design. In the end they chose another SBS.

    When I was in the army, we learned how to detonate the claymore mines. Be sure to point it in the right direction or you will blow yourself up.

    Is the 510 loosening enhanced by taking the unit off and on?

    In other words would it take a month or so for the issue to appear?

    Thanks.

    I think it's probably going to be exactly.like the Brunhilde. I may go for one. It would be nice to have a direct comparison.
    @Daniel Forsyth

    It looks just like a standard RDTA Charlie, they're everywhere these days:w00t:

    The entire 510 assembly loosens by itself from unscrewing an RTA to fill and then screwing it back on.

    So it took about a couple minutes for the 510 assy to loosen on it's own. No RTA was ever screwed on too tightly. I mean, who does that?

    I took my Paramour apart to inspect the 510 assembly. The reason it comes loose is the "genius makers" never properly secured the 510 assy to the frame of the mod with a lock washer. That is the problem.

    Fixing it will require unsoldering a wire or two, installing a proper lock washer and resoldering the wires. I could fix mine, if I wanted, but instead tossed it back in its box. Doubt I will ever do anything with it, like you I have many mods to choose from.

    A customer should never have to fix a poorly designed mod. The designers should have designed it properly in the first place. They did not.
