Plz forgive me for carrying on. I hate to side track, but it's soooo important I feel I just have to.



Dry pellets has only one advantage...it's convenient to us. It gives the dog/cat a feed yes, but it DO NOT nourish them...!!!
Dogs/Cats intestinal tracks are still the same as a wolf or a bobcat. Their bodies have evolved to get all the essential nutrients from raw meat only...they can not digest carbohydrates....even less than us. The amount of carbohydrates in pellets is mostly the reason the body gets inflamed. The pellets are also cooked under high heat, and that kills off all essential nutrients the body needs to feed it's building blocks...enzymes, amino acids etc etc etc...
All of what their bodies need is in raw meat. Because they're such resilient creatures, most dogs/cats cope with it (but their bodies still has oxidative stresses), but some can't...hence IBS, and many other illnesses.
Carbohydrates (which is actually sugar) is a silent killer for them...and us.
Here's a way to calculate the amount of carbohydrates in dry pet food.

I've seen some foods that has a stunningly good looking bag, but the food has a carbohydrate content 50-60%. Seems to me the higher the carb content, the bigger the marketing campaign.

Lowest i've seen up to now is Orijen. Their "Tundra" bag comes in at 18%. Apparently they use much less heat in the manufacturing process...who knows.

I want to add something that still amazes me. Since I started my dogs on a raw diet about a year ago, they don't drink water anymore. The water bowls are still there, but they just don't drink from it. Even after our morning walk...they don't drink water. Sounds crazy, but it's true.
I can only conclude that they get all their water needs from the meat....I do add some water to the ground meat patties before I dish it up for them though.

Kibble (pellets) is the worst. The first thing I got rid of when my Joe got sick. Not only is it pure carbs but many have sprayed on chemicals to attract the animal to it. I have not made the switch to raw yet but I am making all of Joes food, low heat, chicken thighs, with Bone, heart and liver added in powder form. I then make soup from this. Joe's coat is so shiny and lustrous. It has never looked so good. I might make it over to Fred's way one of these days and do raw. Cats have to have things dogs do not have to add. Taurine and such. Liver. UGH

Did some tinkering this weekend on the Asmodus @Daniel Forsyth gave me. The button is a bit to recessed for me, so I lifted it a bit by putting in some epoxy. Uncle Google says one of the colours that matches well with lime green is grey. I picked out a medium dark grey with some pearl in it, and sprayed the button and battery cover.

I've spent all week trying valiantly to ignore the fact that Vapo had the new GM Mods QP Design Lethal RTA in stock.

I lasted until 5 minutes ago, and gave in and ordered some cotton. And the Lethal rta

With discount, I got it for the equiv. of $59usd, but it's still the most I've ever spent on an rta. All the reports I've seen on it are positive. And when GrimmGreen (first time I've watched him) threw in a 2.5mm id coil, got smooth airflow and flavour galore - I said it, and bought it.

I was wondering when that would show up. I saw a picture on FB from a vape expo and there was a sign up for that mod.

I wonder what they mean by fast charging? I wonder if it’s fast like the Geekvape FC mods?

Can’t remember the last time I Direct lunged

I was a stubborn MTL man for my first 3 yrs...never even wanted to look at anything DL. Anything and Everything revolved around MTL as far as I was concerned.
Then one day I bought a Derringer RBA...to test the flavors I mixed. That little thing converted me to DL in no time. I just got soooo much more flavor. I then realised flavor and airflow goes hand in hand.
Now with the Kayfun in MTL mode (well reasonable loose MTL), I do a hybrid MTL...
I do a softish DL draw for about 2sec, then throw the throat into reverse, blow it out the nose and finish off with a MTL....all in one draw.

live been vaping the Fat Rabbit RTA with the bottom afc closed fully and just using the mid level air vents. The flavor and vape are outstanding! I’m really looking forward to trying it with the bottom afc open. Unfortunately at the moment the juice flows right out of the bottom afc as soon as I open after the filling process.

Im really hoping they have instructions with the results because Im really really liking this rta.

I’ve vape nearly all the time using rda’s so it’s a big deal for me to find an rta that has fantastic flavor.

A few google search has found this has been a common problem. Like I mentioned previously they even posted instructions on wicking to solve the leaking problems.

Hopefully they’ll find a fix for this.

My eyes have been watching their Phenom mech for a very long time. Very much like the SS and the two tone. I've seen the price come down a bit over time. Per their web page they are tossing in a Prodigy Hybrid until supplies last.

I know they have some really nice Good Wood that might tempt interest you. Or 2 or 3 or 6.
