GM Mods x qp Design Lethal RTA - Guinea Pig Report Part 1
I still haven't tried the honeycomb insert, or it with no inserts which is why this is only part 1. I'm a slack guinea pig! But it's been so perfect with the 2 hole insert, and a small 2.5mm id coil.
Flavour-wise, it's a keeper. It's as good as the JK Mini, and with a larger coil it would probably beat it. The airflow is super super smooth. It's my first bottom airflow honeycomb atty, so it's hard to compare it. But I'm a convert now, and it's making me really want a Delro.
It's not a juice guzzler by any stretch. Height-wise it has a really short chimney like the Gear rta does, and it stays pretty cool, even with my chainvaping.
I expected some leaking while I figured out the wicking - but it has stayed dry. It's one of my easiest RTAs to wick - stuff the cotton, cut to the deck, loosen it up a bit and stuff into the ports. I think they're designed for a 3mm id coil, but I've had no trouble at all. Every time I've checked the deck, the wicking has been completely saturated - so dry hits haven't factored into it either.
Overall I absolutely love it. It's simple to fill, simple to coil, and simple to wick. And it was well worth the $59 price. There's so little info and hype about it, which surprises me considering how awesome it is.
