Thanks for the recommendations.

I already have three aegis mods. The 26650 version is still going strong. I have the dual battery, legend 2 I think it is. And the solo.

I went with the coolfire Z80.
The z80, if you bought the zenith 2 tank separate… it"s just another $22 to get the mod bought as a kit.

I have the sensis, I like it. (I also bought a second) the z80 seems to have all the features of the sensis with an external battery and dedicated 510.

I learned that I definitely don’t like most plastic tanks/pods. Now I just need to figure out which resistance I like for the coils so I can stock up.

Anyway. Appreciate everyone’s feedback.

Well I broke ranks. Not getting anything vape related....unless I see a worthwhile discount. What i've seen so far is a bit on the meager side.
I decided to treat myself to a new saddle for the bike. Going old school. Still the most comfortable saddle to. Anybody remember these

It's good to know that Brooks is still around. That will last longer than your rear does. Will it take a while to break in?

I'm trying to figure out why some tanks give better flavor than others. My mind always told me (or is it reviewers that told me) that the closest the coil is to the mouth, the better the flavor. Well the Brunhilde is damn good in that department, but the Dvarw is just about equal with it. The Brunhilde coil is close to my mouth, but the Dvarw has an old school long chimney.
Now I just started up my original Juggerknot mini and it don't give the same flavor as a clone Dvarw (for me anyways). The Juggy has a shorter chimney, so in (that) theory, it should give me better flavor...right?
So yeah....why does certain RTAs give better flavor than others?

My theory is it lies in the wicking. The better a tank saturates it's cotton, the better flavor it gives.
The pinnacle of saturated cotton with the tanks I have is the Kumo. Boy this thing makes a saturated flavorful vape...like no other. The only reason it's flavor isn't way better, is because it has side airflow...not bottom. Even with this "drawback" it's flavor is still on par with the Dvarw.
I think best flavour is down to a few design factors. Saturated wicking is vital. We all know how too much wick through a coil mutes the flavour.
The main one for me is efficiency of airflow where a maximum percentage of the air hits the saturated coil and gets to your mouth directly. So the smaller the chamber the better as long as it allows for enough coil mass.
Bottom af works best because the air has to get past the coil to the chimney - nothing wasted or mixed with air that hasn't hit the coil.

    Morning shinies ;)

Definitely. I don't know how many times I've rewicked a coil, and then rewicked it half an hour later - because I'd overstuffed the muffin.

And then of course I understuff, and it sounds like a Harley Davidson :facepalm:

I'm convinced some tanks just makes better flavor than others. Yeah you can tweak it to make the best flavor that specific tank can, but it still can be pale against another tank's flavor.
What i'm on about, is why it makes better flavor than the other one. It has to be about it's design...and that becks the question. What element/s of it's design causes it to make the better flavor?
I believe that a smaller, domed chamber with an airflow that minimizes turbulence is key to getting the best flavor.

Very true but imo there isn't any single tank that suits every vaper's tastes or preferences.

    Somewhere between here and there
I of course like a good flavor producing tank but if it’s too fiddly or leaks then I have little patience with it. Granted it could be operator error but after a handful of tries if it doesn’t do well then it gets sidelined.

Yes it takes I while to break in Ed. Nowadays they also sell a "aged" one. Somehow they softened the leather already. I bought one of them. Don't know how it compares with the standard one though.
It's still pretty hard, but more comfortable than my old gel saddle already. It gets better and better as it breaks in, softens and shapes to the anatomy.
They say a few hundred kilos.

Thanks Daniel, I do appreciate you! The stabwood Phenom's are gorgeous. After looking through my mechs I decided to pass. Honestly, I am truly at that point where I don't need another mech. That's not to say I wouldn't like a Phenom, I would, but my responsible self says no.

Frankly, my responsible self is a PIA sometimes who I don't always agree with. :D
Sometimes my irresponsible self overides my responsible self then my irresponsible self cuts in again and I just do irresponsible browsing :D

Lucky you that we live in the era of the internet.
Back in the day if you were irresponsible you ended up married to a cocktail waitress in Vegas without even a remote clue on how that happened.

Vaping wise i am soooo lazy today, going to splurge for some nice artisanal coils from my friends vape shop and that way he will do the job of putting pn the coil and wick the Arbiter Solo RTA ;)

Off to do some food shopping for the week, cya guys later.
Will post pic of the Arbiter Solo RTA with my thoughts later on,cheers :)
