Having been retired a few years, I never know what day it is, I have no reason to keep track, but I do know it’s Monday. I think it’s the habit of having known it was Monday for all those years. Like a psychic scar. My bones just feel it coming.I like Monday's. Always have and always will!
In fact I haven't met a day of the week that I don't like. They're all fun if you ask me.![]()
Your turn to be honest.
If we were way out in the bush for a few months where there were no calendars, watches with day of the week etc. and no electricity you would lose track of which day was which. Right?
I mean, personally I would no longer care about the names given to days of the week. Wouldn't matter.
Eventually every day would feel like a Saturday. Or, I guess, if you didn't like roughing it, a Monday. I would enjoy this trip.
Please don't tell me you would have 28 rocks to keep track of the 7 days!
Still, it’s good to have one day to dislike because it makes the liking of all the other days so much more obvious. I enjoy F/S/S more than ever now. It’s like eating the veggies before you get dessert.
