Today is my lucky day... bought an absolutely gorgeous Fakirs mods Illusia-D SBS (Dicodes BF60 chip) via the classies. We negotiated a fair price and I jumped on it. I've been on the lookout for one for quite some time.

It's a regulated SBS mod. Fakirs Mods is located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Their mods are very highly sought after.

You rarely ever see them hitting the secondary markets. If so, they're scooped up in the blink of an eye. <POOF> Several months back I missed out on one via FB. Someone beat me with a PM to the seller by a minute. I was bummed out. Excited to have finally found one, very.

Every Fakirs component is a fully custom made piece built by hand and each body is completely unique. The Illusia's body is made from a solid block of 300 year old Turkish Walnut Burl. All metal parts are stainless steel 316Ti. Uses 21700, 20700 or 18650 batteries.

Many, if not most, of the SBS mods around have much lower decks, requiring taller RTA's. The Illusia's have a higher deck, which I prefer, for shorter RTA's.

Next... shopping for a spare Dicodes BF60 chip + screen. I need to make sure my new (to me) Fakirs mod has a backup chip.

About a week ago now I ordered myself a new Good Wood Cool Custom mod to made, it's another DNA 75C single 21700
I received a message this morning from my mod builder and he was sent the photos of the block from the resin guy recently, now it's off to the miller to do his magic!!

Not sure if the chip is easy to get in the US, you have to get out of the US, Creme de Vape, they have been running deals on the BF-60 for a few months, £55 or thereabouts.
And they tend to go with offers on Halloween or Black Friday.

Is customs in Melbourne normally quick?

They're very much up and down, it really depends on how busy they are at the time. Sometimes only a couple of days but sometimes closer to a week!
If they're too long I'll drive down there and sort things out myself

In the US a BF60 is $124 (ouch!!!) at Dicodes-USA. Earlier I saw Creme de Vape has them in-stock and on sale for £64.95 (regularly £74.95). With exchange rates its $73.56. I will buy from CdV, I've always had excellent experiences with them.

This being my first Dicodes mod, I downloaded the BF60 PDF manual earlier. Read it all. Getting a Dicodes mod setup and running, in either simple wattage mode or in TC, doesn't look difficult to me. It's just a new user interface to get used to. Will run it in TC mode, as I am very curious how a Dicodes chip compares to my DNA chips.

That's right, £65, but you have to deduct the UK VAT which is 20%, so you're down to £55 + US VAT.
As soon as they ship to a country other than the UK, CdV deducts the UK's VAT.
One of the reasons I like shopping from them, a professional shop with excellent customer service.

As the biggest negative factor in use is refilling an Atmizoo atty. And, button rattle, but it came with 3 other front covers so maybe one of the others eliminates the rattle.
Positive, Dicodes Extreme v3 chipset, and extremely well built together. I'm going to buy a couple of hybrid drip tips for it.

It was surprisingly comfortable, the little finger under the mod and everything feels natural.
Not sure I like the up and down buttons, but practical a good solution unlike the Extreme's one button operation.

Brand is Critival, mod name is C-Bot.
It is sold on the company's facebook group, think it is a one man company, so there are few mods a month and many buyers.
List maybe once a month and live draw.
