I think I killed my black Abyss. I evidently had a bad aspire coil and it dumped most of a tank into the electronics. I took the bottom off and tried to clean it out with contact cleaner but now it’s stuck at 5 watts and neither adjustment button works.

It might be worth a shot to remove the board and give it a deep clean with Isopropanol. Include the up/down switches and all contacts. Leave it to dry properly before you re-solder and replace.

At very least remove the battery and get in deep with an iso-soaked cotton bud one more time as far as you can reach around the board and switchs/contacts. Dry with a hair dryer on gentle setting and let it sit for a while before you try it again.
    Good luck.

I brought it to work with me today and have it apart and drying after cleaning it with some good electrical cleaner that I use at work. I have two other ones but hate to lose this one over one bad coil.

It's annoying when you have an accident like this, especially when it's an SBS. It is easy to appreciate them.

It's another reason a don't like drop-in coils. One bad one can ruin a mod.
With an rta leaking is so rare and if it does happen, we can blame ourselves.

In my case it was my own fault, if you leave a full rta for months with a full tank it will sooner or later dump the juice.
On drop in coil, it is also my experience that they dump the juice more easily, and with some batches it happens faster.
