Good morning shiny people. I've still got two more reviews to get done but the pressure is starting to subside. It really stresses me when I get so many arrive at the same time.
I was just thinking a little while back that you and other reviewers do a lot of work for very little return. A few devices/samples wouldn't even come close to paying for your time and effort. More of a public service for fellow vapers I suppose. So thanks - appreciate it.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen,
not much is on its way to me, a package from Germany that has not yet landed on Norwegian soil, has been in the air for 5 days.
I don't have much on my shopping list for next month, the only thing I will have is the SBS Mini from Dicodes.

I do enjoy testing new equipment but when seven review samples arrive in three days then it can get a bit hectic. I do it because I like it but when so many are due at the same time then it almost seems like a second job with a lot less pay than my first job. I enjoy sharing my thoughts on this stuff. They might be different than what others think but all I can do is speak from my experience.

Speaking of reviews, I posted a new one this morning.

I'm trying to read up on this new Dicodes SBS, apart from the fact that it looks great, and that the 18350 will be perfect for my little Caspardina, and that the 18650 will be perfect for my high FeV & Corona atty's, there is one couple of things i dislike.

The bottom looks incredibly cheap, at least to my eyes.
I would definitely prefer a SS plate where we pay the price by not being able to charge the mod with the battery installed.
In terms of design, I don't think there is room for a USB-C, rather doubtful if there is room for their own charger.
I would still prefer an SS plate.

Now that's a shame (only according to my personal preferences). This revises my purchase decisions by quite a lot if this the final design. Was wrongly assuming full SS (which is my #1 preference) and USB-C (which I know many don't care for). I'd rather get the SBS 21700 and a high-end boro with a Steamshell first, then continue experimenting with the current-gen RTAs...

Now that I'm making DIY liquids, I'm getting interested in squonking. I remember when I exclusively dripped at home because of the flavor and ease of re-wicking. Lots of other advantages too :)

They probably don't have room for normal charging on the chipset and have gone for wireless charging.
It's not a deal breaker, maybe they will offer an SS plate later, the problem is that it won't be a safe solution, so the chance is microscopic.
I'm going to have one anyway, I always charge in an external charger.

I saw that :) I'm okay with Qi charging, actually, but I'm still going to switch my purchase order. I'll probably end up buying the 2nd batch if the 1st batch sells out.

If anyone else is curious about this new mod, the following link was quite informative:

It was the forum where I read about the latest details, and it has been tiny on the FB SBS group.

I agree. Besides the stockpile of goods one must accumulate gives me a rash thinking about it. But YES, I also appreciate it. Also appreciate the knowledge you have a share with all of us that have questions about a particular device.

That is exactly what I like and appreciate about the reviews you and our other ECF reviewers do. You all tell it like it is.

I noticed that too @hittman, but I've also noticed that the Freemax product range has been drastically reduced.

No Mesh/Maxus Pro tanks available anymore other than new old stock in stores.
I’m not sure what’s going on with them. I see a post here and there on Instagram but not a lot.

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know if the following is in production: A high-end compact metal boro with USB-C?

Regarding mid-ends: One I could find is the SXK BB, which I would buy immediately if they didn't insist on copying the dang logo. It's just too much for me :) The most relevant non-clone mid-end I could find is the DotAIO Mini, which looks promising...

If not, the Stubby AIO 18650 might end up higher on my list. It has many advantages apart from its thickness, including easy re-wicking.
