I'm starting to see the new Dani mini SBS showing up in a couple FB groups.

Someone posted that one in the KHW mods group. It looks nice with the Dvarw rta. It would look even nicer with the full metal jacket.

Thanks mate. And thanks to all you others who pointed out the istick series came with that adapter. My only eleaf products have been various picos which didn't include it.

I did find one similar in a bunch of boro atty/510 converters that'll do the job with some tweaking.
So I should be good to go.
I look forward to hearing the experience you form along the way.

We are still seeing the prototypes, some small changes will probably come before it is launched.
My Dvarw’s (4) all have full SS, even the 16 has it.

I will have an SBS Mini as soon as it comes out, later when they have eliminated all issues I will have another one, I am a weak SS person!

Most have a juice control that is roughly on/off.
Doubtful if any of them are 100% tight.
The ultimate rta does not exist, but some have a very good balance between juice channels, their design, and the vacuum we create when we give them a vape which is again a factor in soaking the wick.

If you have problems with flooding the deck, or a lot of gurgling, it is almost always the coil height, and the amount of wick, or how you choose to shape the transition from the juice channel to the coil.

To take one example, I was not at all impressed with the AER, I could have taken the 10 rta asap which I would argue was much better, on everything.
But I set the coil far too low in the desire for the best possible mtl vape. When I put the coil where the guide is, voila, now it's on my top three list. Alot more smooth vape, no gurgling, wick like a champ.

I can't remember the last time I had an RTA that gurgled (or one that leaked).

With my Kayfun's and Tripod's I always make certain the wick shoulders are NOT resting on the center AF block. After I wick one I take a sewing needle and move the shoulders away from the block. Like so:

TripodWick.jpg

That's from one of my Tripod v1 build decks. Not the best pic, but it clearly shows what I do.

I learned that trick years ago in the one of the authentic Kayfun threads.

I am also a weak person when it comes to SS. And like you, I have full SS for each of my Dvarw's. I have them installed on a couple. On the others I have glass, the Ultem tube or a polycarbonate tube installed.

And, I am still hopeful, wishing, Tas eventually gets around to making a SS one for the Aer.

The gasket will spoil the Aer a bit, but, black drip tip that it has, I still think the SS tank will be stylish.
The glass on the Aer Standard is OD 24mm, ID 21mm, height 8.5mm.
I have not measured the extension kit yet since it is in use.
I love my Aer on the Mixx, and the day I've got a BF-60 jammed in there.....

flashbacks to 2012? 2013?
Close!
I switched over to vaping September 2014.
Tried one cigalike and was like Nope, this won't do it.
Guy at the cig store said, "Oh, you want a juice pen!"
They had a Rejuve kit which had a little ego battery with one of those top wick atomizers/charger/juice. I went through a couple of those before I hit google and found my first B&M vape place.

Moved on to bigger Spinners and Vivi Novas. Then moved on to the mighty 20 watt iStick. It was a big improvement but wasn't long until I found the MVPs and they were incredible to me.

Then I decided it would be better to go with external battery mods and got a pair of Pico 25s (85 watts - amazing!)

But, running ever more power hungry sub-ohm tanks spurred me to check out dual battery mods which led to my falling in love with the Aegis Legends. Didn't love them at first, they were just doing their job, but they grew on me.

That's the basics up until January 2022 when I realized that I should stock up just in case which led to hoarding, rebuildables, and DIY.

Sorry for the outburst, guess I'm feeling a bit chatty!

Speaking of YT reviewers, someone in the Bottom Feeders Squonks, Boros, & More FB group asked Google BARD (AI) who the best vaping reviewer is on YouTube.

    The results speak for themselves.

Not even AI likes Jai Haze.
I didn’t recognize a few. Mike and Vic are my favorites followed by Todd. Bogan is ok but not a favorite.

There are some on that list that I think are miserable, without naming names.

Todd's Review is excellent, very good at bringing out positive and negative points, and detailed camera, definitely my favorite, and also the only one I support through Patreon.
Vaping Bogan is also good, he is also good at pointing out positive & negative sides, the same applies to GrimGreen even if he scores because he now and then brings up things that affect us vapers.
    Mike Vapes is also good.

Vaping with Vic was also good until he moved out of the bedroom, that studio adventure ruined a lot for him, and I didn't feel he did good reviews then, he had some classic builds like FeV vs dual, which looked like a child had built...worth to watch, just saying…..

Jai could have been good, but he is mostly busy talking down one product, drama queen.

I found a suitable adapter for the drill chuck to 510. It's an old FT heat sink.
(I used a Pulse 24 rda as a guinea pig. Spinning straight and true)
    20230520_125635.jpg

Also got the sandpaper grades that @Tor R suggested. From P240 up to P1200.

As soon as I vape this tank dry, it'll be time to get started.

Good setup mate, looks solid compared to the eleaf transition I used.
This is doing well and I look forward to more of your reports
