Yes, rba works well but for myself I found the deck small and tedious compared to my other rbas. Personally I am quite happy I explored rdtas, dead easy to build/wick; filling is mildly tedious though depending on the bottles you use.
Forgot to mention the stock coils are good, keep in mind I usually use diy juice which is much easier on coils if you use a coil friendly sweetener.
This morning I wanted to get a better look at the RBA for the Kriemhilde II. I couldn't get the dang thing apart. The bottom of the tank come off, but not the RBA. When I got the notion to grab a pair of pliers, STOP!! They should not be needed!! That's when I looked through the bottom of the RBA and noticed the slot. I put a small flathead screwdriver in there, turned it, and the RBA come right out. I was getting p.i.ss.e.d....lol.
I'm wanting to find a nice RDTA. I was looking at the Steamcrave (expensive) brand after watching a couple videos by Vaping with Vic. He does some dang good reviews.
I ran the Helheim rdta for quite a while on a squonk mod so I had the tank full and the squonk bottle. When the tank got low just gave it a squeeze and refilled the tank. Much less filling that way.
I like to design, some of what arrived today, 50cm and 30cm aluminum rulers, and a compass tool that I have wanted for a long time.
I bought the old Staedtler in 1992 when I went to technical school, I still have it, a little step up today.

Still thinking about putting an rdta on a squonk. Honestly just too lazy to set it up yet. I don't remember if I have the SC rdta but probably not. I do have 2 others I like but other than the Artemis I can't recall what the other two are. Lol
I felt he was better a few years ago.
Nowadays, everything is great in all his tests.
He tests the middle level, very rarely does he get the opportunity to test the high end, and even on the middle brands he has failed with several, among other things it has been years since Innokin sent products to Vaping with Vic.
Then he messes up the difference from 18350 to 18500 quite often too.
He has good intros, there aren't many who can beat him on that, but a lot of so-so on use and specifications.

I'm to point in this venture of vaping, where I >want< to have a nice journey. I want to experience high-end RTA/MTLs.
As time has progressed, the Kayfun 5, 5² have had me somewhat mesmerized.
What I need to do now, is get beyond the cost.
I had never bought any high end tanks until last year. Actually I don’t think I spent over 40 for a tank until then. I saw a review on the Voltrove rta and bought one. I think it was around $80 plus I got a couple spare glass sections for it. Yes it was nice but not twice as nice as some of my other tanks. There are a lot of more expensive tanks than that but thought I’d start out in the mid range. Also, I’m not really big into MTL so that eliminated a lot of the high end tanks for me. As it stands, I’m pretty happy with what I have and don’t feel the need to spend hundreds on a tank.

The VapeFly tanks suit me fine. Am I satisfied? Yes. But. I'm so much so, I want to experience the others made by them for MTL.
I could say "I'm open to suggestions" and play round-robin listening to others input, biased or un-biased, and still not hear what I'm wanting to hear. So in my eyes of expectations there's a game called "buy once-cry once" and take the plunge.

I've also looked into both of those. The Prime is actually top of the list. The 5 sounds like it's also more RDL but can be dialed down.
The 5² is more RDTA.

If you go towards true mtl, of the two you mention, Prime with air nozzle kit is a few steps above 5. Even if you can buy a pin kit for 5, you can't fine deal afc in the same way, and the chamber is probably slightly larger than Prime.
I don't have 5, but Prime and KFL'21
5² is a pure RDL.
I have a couple Prime's........ they are very nice MTL RTA's. Airflow can easily be set between 1mm - 2mm.
Also have a couple KFL19's......... also very nice MTL RTA's.
Also have an OG K5, it can only be "dialed down" to MTL via optional airflow inserts. The quality of MTL on a K5 w/AF inserts is nowhere near that of a Prime or KFL.
The Kayfun 5 SE airflow can be adjusted between 1.8mm, 2.2mm, 2.7mm and 3.2mm (fairly open MTL to DL).
The 5² and 5² SE are both straight-up DL RTA's (AF = 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm).
