Went beach fishing pre-dawn this morning. Didn't catch anything but did get to see the resident pod of dolphins feeding and playing about 80m away. They stuck around for about an hour. A couple of young ones in the pod getting lessons.

My Gen 200 started to have a sticky button so I took my itank off of it and put it on a brand new Asmodus Lustro. I set it for the same temp it was set at on the Gen 200. 58 watts. coil is .18.
Tried to take a hit. Blasing hot, burnt hit. Turned it down to 50 watts, same. Ended up at 40 watts and still feels too powerful but at least it was not burning dry hits.
I ended up putting the itank back on the defunct Gen and went in search of a new mod online. The Lustro was brand new and still wrapped.
Does anybody know what gives?

Did you check the resistance of the coil on another mod after this happened?
I'd try tightening down all connections and if it's still firing too hot, replacing the coil.

Hmm. I'm not sure. I've used both of those mods and haven't had that issue. Did you try turning off the TCR mode and going strictly by power?

Bingo. Diid what you said and the coil registers at.45 when I put the itank on the Lustro. Still at .,18 on Gen. After reducing the watts to 35 and hitting it a bit it then worked its way down to .22.
Changing the coil for sure now. Thanks T
