Morning shinies ;)

The world's greatest procrastinator has finally begun operation sort out your old vape gear. I solved my too many boxes problem by doubling or tripling up the same item per box. I got rid of lots and lots and lots of empty boxes :sneaky:
Yeah. You can get 4 Picos in a Pico box, 3 side by side and one crosswise at the end. The only things I still have in their original boxes are Provaris. I read once that Provaris have better resale value if they have the boxes and so forth, not that I ever thought about selling them. That info is many years out of date so it's probably time to consolidate them. Some stuff like KFLs I just keep in plastic bags now. Some boxes are particularly large and solidly built so they are good to keep stuff in. You really can liberate a lot of space that way.

I threw out a ton of boxes when I went through my stash. I took the spare tank parts and bagged them up with a hand written label on each bag. I’m not completely finished but at least got all of the cardboard boxes gone through and emptied.

It's a tough one. Boxes take up so much space but anything that could be collectable in the future is worth many times more in the original packaging. I was just watching an Antiques Roadshow episode yesterday where one of the experts was making that point.
Maybe it won't just be Provaris that'll have increased resale value. We might be surprised - who'd have guessed that the toys from the 60s/70s/80s would be worth what they are.
(rationalisation of a hoarder? )

I've seen some Lego collectors solve the box problem by carefully flattening the boxes and stacking them

It's hard to tell. If people are still vaping 20 years from now the classics might be worth a bunch. Depending on the politics vaping might be ancient history though.

I was sad to hear recently that model train gear is worth basically nothing today. The model train clubs in the UK are all closing down as the ancient members die off. But you can still get a few bucks for an old Monopoly game with the wooden houses and hotels.

I agree it's impossible to know but I'm not sure vaping has to be a going concern in the future for interesting industrial design pieces in colourful boxes to be collectable. I guess if any of us are around in twenty years we'll find out.

Too bad to hear this! The important thing is that YOU are ok. Cars can be replaced, wonderful people cannot. I know a bit about bad car accidents. I was in a head on collision at 65 miles per hour while I was driving a small car and the other vehicle was a large truck. They had to cut me from the wreckage with the "jaws of life".... How I survived the accident is truly baffling .. It's probably why I am still silly and dingy to this day ;) Hope you can get a new vehicle that will work for you!
Thanks so much! Glad that you made it through that horrible experience!!!

T my man, "considering the way things are going globally", that for sure is a Big If..........
especially considering the nature of "impermanence"............... ( tick-tock  )

but "if" i'm around in twenty............
i will be fookin' 84...........
    lotsa LOLz...........

at eighty-four, will i even give AF???
dunno............ :?: ............. prolly 'bout some thingz, yes......
if i'm even still vapin' ( and like seriously....... who knows??? )
( no one here knowz fer sure if they will, in 20 )
<<< let alone, be here in twenty....... [ or tomorrow ] >>>

and honestly, the way web forums go, i would be surprized if the ECF is still kickin' in 20.............

    if it is...........
nearly every member [ still alive ] will be really freakin' old codgers.............
and babbling on, and on, about what vaping was like "back in the day"............
    and what modz surVived..........
and { of course, like all good old-timerz } yapping 'bout the freaking weather...........
and global weather on planet Earth in 20, hmmm............. :glare:

not sure how many regulated modz will be "alive" in 20........... ::: LOL :::
for sure, a good number won't survive...........
good thing some folks bought spare DNA/Dicodes chipsets/screens.....
and good thing some ppl bought mechs.........
if i'm still here [ and vapin' ]............. mech squonking and/or dripping, yes..........
and i will still have enough nic for another 20 yearz.........
    ((( more than 20 if i drop down to 3mg )))
oh yeah........... and Rayon, enough for several lives to come ( ---- )..............

but then, 20 years on............. hmmm, 18650's, 20700's or 21700's may be long gone..........
rendering all of our vapes.............. freakin' useless............. { tragedy }.............
    "toothpick nic-dipping then"............

    but 84 though.......... :censored:!!!
but then again, eighty-four might be totally effing awesome........... :w00t:

    old_hippie_with_a_joint.jpg

    IDK.....................
