I just ordered some new batteries. I use 10W batteries because I vape at low power. Went to LIION to get my usual and got a bit of a surprise. This one

NCR18650GA Flat Top 10A 3500mAh

It's selling at $3.79 which is apparently the wholesale level price, previous order was $5.20. Different color too, green instead of the red I usually get. Molicel have just brought one out with the same specs going for $6.19. LIION says the Moli will now be their recommended battery at this spec level. It supposedly has better hot and cold performance and more cycles, I'm guessing they are selling off the Panasonic in advance of dropping them.

Anyway I got the Panasonic. Hope I won't regret it.

Afternoon Shinies! Anyone have any vape mail recently or upcoming?

How about vape plans this weekend?

My housemate bought an ultrasonic cleaner and we took apart several atomizers that were embarrassingly gross lol!

They came out better than new!! We (I) coiled them up and we wicked them and WOW what a difference a clean atty, cool and wick make!

I ordered my housemate a coil master kit and a box of coils for Xmas. Time he started to recoil his own vapes!! I gave him a quick lesson about placement and leg length etc…. He’ll do fine esp since he’s using two of my dead rabbit single coils so they both get the same treatment.

I plan on doing several more in the cleaner this weekend before building a few more and packing a few up.

That and hockey and pro football. Life is Good!!

    Somewhere between here and there
Good evening shiny people. I have to admit that I’m so far impressed with the innokin Coolfire pzpulse and the coils. The .2 and .4 coils performed very well so far and I just loaded one of the optional .6 coils to test. After this I’ll get working on writing more of my review.

I put my Lemos and KFLs in the UC once in a while. Maybe every year or two. I break down the decks and separate all the little gaskets and screws and so forth. They always tend to be covered in brown gunk on the hidden surfaces. Can't say I notice better taste after the cleaning, but the resistance tends to go down and be more stable.

Attn @Zazie - the UC I have is called Black Hills Gold 890. Kind of small but big enough for vape tanks, and the timer goes up to 30 mins. Works for the wife's jewelry too. This is the only place I could find it on-line.

That looks like the one I have, if a bit more sophisticated. What mine does is jiggle rapidly--is that all that these things are supposed to do? Quick jiggling = ultrasonic?

Hmm. My cheapola gizmo zappeth not.
Not sure I get the difference between zapping bubbly thing and jiggle rapidly. What I normally get is a buzzing sound and sometimes the stuff in the tub wiggles around a bit. Seems like if I have something in it which has somewhat of a cup shape on the bottom it wiggles. Like air appears underneath the item and jerks it around as it escapes. Solid items don't move much.

"Zapping" suggested something much more dramatic than what goes on in mine--which does, however, jiggle so enthusiastically that it sometimes shimmies right off the counter onto the floor. Which is fun.

Enthusiastic jiggling and a shimmy or two would be enough for me. A (dramatic) zap or two not unwelcome though.
