Third ~20 hour day w/ the 2.8ohm bottom-feeder and it's getting a little sluggish but generally working well.

Unlike the Standard it seems to be turning pitch-black w/ carbon residue so I'm going to clean it more regularly. I'll probably go back to the HH for a few days after this simply because on my tobacco it is more satisfying.

Eagerly looking forward to the revision though, it's really close to ideal for my vaping style if the balance back to tobacco was a bit sharper. And quality issues worked out. -Magnus

I finally took the 1.5 bf Hybrid off my Woodvil this morning because of the talk we had on atomizer cleaning yesterday. I thought, "man you should clean that damn thing"! I really don't know exactly how many days it has been since I blew it out but it's been at least four or five days so I took it off and blew it out in a paper towel. The little juice that remained was clean and not gunky at all. I use AVE Havana Gold exclusively in this atty and, except for a 30 ml bottle of Gorilla Juice, that's the only juice I use period. When I broke in the other Hybrid I used Gorilla Juice so I'm keeping that atty for just the times when I want to change flavor for a day or two. Anyway...., I don't get the carbon build up or whatever it is you are reffering too MagnusEunson. The only thing I see is the coil is black and the material that the coil is wrapped on is black but it certainly isn't gunky and the juice that I blow out of it is the color it's supposed to be. I use about the thickest juice available without any problems of that nature.

weird .. the coil on my BF one never turns black(I can see each coil in ss color) and the wick is soaked brown... like newly primed atty. I've been using this exclusively for past week. Never cleaned yet. I just wish the draw was little more stiff.

mine too, using very "clean" juice, no coloring, sugar and 10% VG

I am running a Reo Grand with 2 Top Feed Hybrid 2.o atties, which I alternate on given days been doing this for 1 month and the atty has been performing like a champ all I do is blow out atty and let it rest 1 day then back at it. I vape 50/50 juices none of which are heavy and black.

Are those the ones that are called the Universal Hybrid? Universal because they work on any 510 PV. They have a gold band on them,

the BF is all chrome.

The carbon is from the use, not the coils.. they're pitch black and the wick is pitch black. It's just happening awfully fast. More regular cleaning and it's not an issue.

I think I'm going to end up with a few HHs in the arsenal, especially for my tobacco vapes but as an all-around atty this will be hard to beat after the quality issues are confirmed worked out. It's just too good a value. -Magnus

I picked up a 2-pack of these last week after reading this thread, and I must say I'm impressed! One of the Attys that came in the pack was pretty much useless, but luckily I tried that one second so there were no bad first impressions. I love when I get something new like this, take the first drag and have to yell "WOW That's good!"

I hope the new batch become available soon, I wanna try these bad boys upgraded. Also, I love that they say "Vapage" on the side, that's just cool.

I don't know, but I think the new batch only went up to 2.5ohm.

Any word on the 2.2's? Showing OOS. Considering the spec on the 2.0s, one as low as 1.6, I wanted to go up just in case.

So the atties they're currently selling at Vapage is a mixture of old and new batches until they get rid of all the old batch? Or did they replace everything with the new batch? Looks like 2.5 BF got just added so at least that one must be all new version.
