Any word on the 2.2's? Showing OOS. Considering the spec on the 2.0s, one as low as 1.6, I wanted to go up just in case.

The V2 should be very tight on the resistances. No more than 0.1 from spec.

So the atties they're currently selling at Vapage is a mixture of old and new batches until they get rid of all the old batch? Or did they replace everything with the new batch? Looks like 2.5 BF got just added so at least that one must be all new version.

I don't know what the mix is of the V1 and V2.
I know the 2.5ohm are new though.

Did anyone pick up the 2.2's that are willing to part with 1 or2? I asked Brian, and this was a trial resistance only. I tried to order but they are out. Worried 2.5 is gonna be too cool on a small batt.

He did say they would have more in Sept, but I'm down to 2 attys that are metering spot on and a few that are too danged low. Curses! Vapage has ruined me!

One of my four 2.8ohms came DOA. I think I'm just going to stick w/ the redesigned ones. That's five of eight early death or DOA.

The other three are are three different mods and working well. Not sure why one of them the coils turned black-black and won't clean up even in the ultrasonic but it's not rust and it's not zinc and it works so I'm going to try not to think about that too much.

For the three that are pumping plumes away it's certainly a sight to see at HV. I'm really enjoying them. Look forward to some second-design batch Hybrids and the new coils especially. Any early adopter reports/comparisons of that? -Magnus

Brian is looking into it for you.

He's going to see if they have any 2.2ohm left for you. ;)

Thanks AG. His email from yesterday said they would have more in Sept, but 2 attys? Ya know when things go seems they all go at once:laugh:

I have a year + stock of 801s but haven't touched them in over a month. It's not like I'm bereft, just .... when it comes to the best vape. I suppose I should try those again now the RSM is home and see if I still like them as much.

Are the VMODS all shipping w/ the new case? I might try that too as a gift for someone but don't want to gift a crackable case. -Magnus

They all have the new chassis now.
The old style chassis was hit or miss...only some were defective.

Best on-the-go mod in my arsenal....

It only makes sense that the Hybrid would be more consistent. The wick in the Hybrid being placed in the SS wrapping is going to stay saturated much better than the wick in the 357 because it stays in the juice surrounding the cup. Those little holes in the cup of the 357 are not going to keep the wick saturated as well as the Hybrid with it's wick placement, in my opinion, especially with the thicker juices.

Mine too.

I call it my "Super Hybrid!" :)

Yeah, it is that!
I have never had an atomizer that has remained the same for this long. This "Super Hybrid" is hitting like it was from the first full day after break-in. I was thinking this morning of putting on my spare that I was saving for Bobas Bounty. I broke it in for one day and took it off to go back to my Havana Gold "original". I really have no reason to switch at this time except for just something to do.

Alright, so help me out y'all. I tried the original Universal Hybrid when it first came out, and it had a short life. Vapor became wispy, and eventually it popped.

It's my understanding they upgraded them. So, if I order two new Universal Hybrids from Vapage, will they be the upgraded versions?

Furthermore, should I go for the BF version instead, since I use a Reo?

I want to make sure I'm getting the improved version, and not any of the old versions.

The new versions are available at Vapage in 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 ohms for the BF Model. There may be a few of the earlier version available, but if so, they are in the other ohm ratings listed, not the above 3.

I have no data on upgraded model for the Universal.

I think vapin15 is for 15% off. There is also a current promotion code laborday, but that might just work for the mod.

Vapage has been very helpful with those who were not satisfied with their first edition for various reasons. You might want to call customer service and tell them your experience.

Along with the pictures of the new atty there was some info regarding the changes, including a new o ring seal, which greatly helps prevent the overtightening of the atty which caused some BF owners some trouble. The BF model is the way to go, IMHO., if you have a catch cup/drip well on your mod.
