Everything works well now....just had a prob with some cracking but replacements sent out
right away....now all Vmods ordered are the new chassis...
you can buy with confidence....
Vapage stands behind their products...even replacing hybrid attys

Dunno but interested in ideas. My 1.5 didn't last that long, maybe a week tops. Mid vape it just stopped. The 2.0s are going strong, now over 30 days.

Mine(BF 2.0Ω) just died few hours ago, and it was my sixth day on it. I kept it always almost flooded.
But I've been vaping it at 4.5v so I guess it was my fault really.
Was still hoping it would last little longer.
Anyways I'm on my fourth one now. I lowered the power down to 4.1v.
I'll see how long it lasts this time. This one measures at 1.9Ω for some reason though.

Chet, they should do better @ 4.1V. Did you know running an atty flooded can shorten their life too? Can't imagine doing that with the BF's though.

No, I didn't know flooding it can shorten the lifespan. I'll keep that in mind.
I normally feed it enough so it gurgles slightly when I vape.
Sometimes I can't even tell if the atty's getting too dry or not.
I also find I get better TH and taste keeping it that way.
Would this be considered flooding?

I've only managed to get a gurgle when I've overfed the feed chamber (Vmod) and the vape (for me) is not pleasant. Vapor, TH & flavor loss. Not sure how you can flood these on an RSM???? You do have the slotted ones, yes?

Yeah the sloted one, using upright feeding.
I used to squeeze the bottle until I see a slight liquid throught the slots then release. But now I just squeeze for few seconds and suck on the drip tip to see if it gurgles slightly. So no liquid through the slot most of the time. Maybe I shouldn't even really call it 'gurgle'... more like just some liquid noise? I always get the best taste and TH right after I do that. I mean when the atty makes a little liquid noise when I vape.

Here is something for you to check out. Take off your drip tip, feed until you cover the coils plus (stand & shoot method), release bottle pressure and watch the liquid drain out into the catch cup. These are amazing attys. The fluid drains just perfect each time.

I don't get the liquid sound though. Maybe my hearing is bad???

Even before I completely cover the coil with liquid I see it leaks through the slot so I had to release.
I guess I'm not really flooding it then... because I normally don't let any liquid fall out from the slots or most of the times even seen through the slots. My CC is very clean and nothing to clean when I take the atty out.
Maybe I meant slight bubling sound rathe than gurgle.

I'll have to let you know once Ziri comes back from Cappy. Vaping these on a Vmod atm. I get no liquid sounds on a draw, but the feeding is different.

I too don't understand how you can shorten the life of an atty by flooding it. If that was the case then I should have used up a bunch of attys by now. I have never "poped" an atty or had one just die on me for any reason except when I took tweezers and screwdriver in hand and ruined them myself. Except for the few Cisco's I bought when I first started vaping that is, and even then it was because I didn't get them wet enough and let them soak for more then a few seconds so the burnt up on the first hit or two. After talking with Avid I haven't burnt one up since then. Maybe I've just been lucky but I keep all my attys as wet as possible, short of drinking the juice, and I use 1.5 ohm exclusively. I throw them away when they stop performing up to my standards. I quit trying to clean them, except for blowing them out, because they are just never the same for me after cleaning. My Hybrids are still going like the day I got them and I find that amazing! Again, I can't wait to get the new ones!

Look at your coil....is it centered and the coils spread apart?

I think it actually makes them last longer and acquire less goop on the coil.

I am the flood masta and I only pop attys if the voltage is peaked for said atty (so far only popped one atty), my coils are sexy...enough said.

Mine look sloppy compared to the pics of the new ones, specially the one that died. Off center(one coil was actually touching the side) and 2 coils are almost on top of each other. But, aren't the ones in the pics in the next batch that are not available yet? I'd hate to order more of what I have, but the vape was too darn good on the VMOD to go back to anything else I have on hand.

The one in the pic is "picture perfect."
I have a number of them that don't look as good as the one in the pic.
I do have one which is off and doesn't perform like the rest.
It hasn't died yet, but it's definitely underperforming.

I really can't tell you what to do.
The first batch has been good to me, but the second batch is still a couple of weeks away.
I know Vapage is replacing any of the hybrids which aren't living up to expectations...

So i dont know what im doing wrong with these attys, the first two that ive tried have both gone through the same pattern. They start vapping REALLY nice, great vapor and flavor. then it seems after about 2 days the draw gets really tight and and vapor production and flavor decrease id say by half. i cleans one of the attys with alcohol and it still seems to be doing the same thing. any suggestions?
