My only concern about anyone becoming re-addicted to nicotine via vaping is the very real possibility (probability?) that the W.H.O. or the U.S. Government or some bureaucracy somewhere is liable to declare personal vaporizers illegal & throw us all back on our butts, so to speak. Just a thought from my cave. Meantime, Happy vaping!
:vapor:

A good point. We should only be allowed to get addicted to nicotine via big tobacco

Order placed for the $50 Volt starter kit (6mg). Looking forward to it :D Thanks again for all the help everyone.

Hahahahahaaaa! Absolutely! And we should only be allowed to be freed from that addiction by Big Pharma! Seriously, I think you made a wise choice in your kit, and I think it should be the right of every adult to self-medicate as (s)he sees fit, in any society daring to call itself "free". Happy Vaping! :D

That's great if that's what you want, but the OP is clearly gravitating toward mini style analog lookalikes, Volt, Blu, Halo, etc

Why confuse him with so called "better options" when he's already figured out what style of ecig he wants to try and has chosen quite well?

I mentioned the ego kit at vapor4life because in the 1st post the OP said she may be interested in the little bigger batteries too, or something of that wording

For PEETs sake lol it's not like I told her to get a vv box mod or a provari lol

ANYHOW, glad you selected a kit!! I have both vapor4life batteries, volt batteries, AND egos (though mine are 510 threaded and variable voltage, not the easy 808 ones of vapor4life...) and I like all 3! Definitely visit the smokeless image thread with any comments or questions you have, everyone is so nice and helpful there!! Good luck on getting started vaping!! :)

Lol. The guys who talked me into those contraptions had basically just lost touch with what it's like to be a newbie vaper.

I didn't actually see your early recommendation for the KR8 eGo after OP had stated he was sort of open to it, there was another much later after OP had already decided on a great kit and that's what I was raving about.

I've seen many of your posts before I haven't seen you talk out of your .... yet.

Blu is a good choice if you want to keep smoking. Volt is probably the best of the mini battery models but basically......

Rule of Thumb: the more it looks like the real thing, the worse the performance.

There are many better options.

I don't agree with the above statement AT ALL! .... I have two big batt manual PV's and I will still take any one of my KR8's over those any day of the week..... it's statements like the one above that almost kept me from even trying a KR8, thinking it would be a poor performer and nothing could be further from the truth .... it was a very pleasant surprise :)

Oh - thanks

But I can be an idiot with the best of them too sometimes

I also don't agree with wv2win's rule of thumb. Vapor4life & Smokeless Image have GREAT cigarette style batteries, and even though I have some mods now, I still use my kr808s too! :toast:

I've been vaping for nearly two weeks now. After lots of research, and talking with a friend that has been vaping for six months, I chose the Halo G6. It's a KR808D1, which means you can find parts at other places. But, the quality of the Halo G6 continues to impress. Even more so, the juice is amazing. I have tried a couple of other brands, but none are as good as the Halo juices (which are also American-made). The Halo G6 gives you good hardware that is more affordable than most (around $50 for the starter kit). But, you also get great juice, a simple two piece system (cartomizer and battery), and really fast processing (almost instant) and shipping.

I'm on my mobile right now so I can't push the like button, but if I could I'd like the hell out of that post.

Sadly it happens all too often, I personally love watching my friends cough and splutter when they experience 808 throat hit for the first time. :D

It's not a real cig, how bad could it be? HAHAHAHAHA

ahahhaha ... tell me about it! ... I am on a fresh carto and a battery just off the charger and I feel like I am in vape heaven right now :D ... and flavor? My Flue cured Tobacco taste like God made it for me :p

Not only was the KR8 a definite surprise performer, it turned out to be the PV that I really wanted and needed from the start.... and several months later as far as PV's go, I don't want anything else ........ aside from some more colored batteries, and the new diamond LED caps that you can snap on your battery :D

It took me 4 months to find out what a KR808D-1 is after going through carts, atties, burnt taste, smart carts, ego tanks etc. I consider my Volt autos an upgrade I didn't know about. Best kept secret on ECF. Simplified life greatly.

mmhmmm, my sentiments exactly ... After I tried the KR8 the one question that kept running through my mind was "Do the people know?" .... best kept secret for sure ;-)

I have the ego-t 1000 mah model, and I'm pretty happy with it.

If you were/are a heavy smoker (1 pack a day or more), regardless of the model you'll want a battery life of at least 650 maH. There's another rule of thumb you'll want to follow that was passed on to me when I first started exploring replacing my XhaleO2...

The more they look like 'the real thing' the worse the overall performance will be.
