Looks like a caterpillar. Lol!!!

My first 2 mesh builds had horrible hot spots. That's what made me mad at them. The ekowool eliminates that.

Just found this new vendor that sells 100%VG over on deals and steals. The post also said something about getting an entry for drawing for a Provari with purchase. I thought we could not do that stuff here?

I know some of you vape all vg so thought I would post about a 50% off sale.

Tetra Vape – Welcome

They use cinnamon oil. They are a no go for me. :)

To correct myself I spoke with Dana from Tetra vape and she said "We have two different cinnamon flavors from two different companies. The first being an alcohol base and is the cinnamon that is used in our pure cinnamon flavor. The second is mixed into our Spike Spiegel and is unique in that its boundary layers are separated by a high centrifuge and the flavor portion is extracted, leaving behind all other properties (including oil). All of our non-alcohol based flavors are extracted this way." So it may well be a safe way to vape cinnamon.

WhooHoo! That sounds fantastic even though I didn't understand one bit of what they actually do to make it different. :p Whatever. It also seems the ecig industry demand for flavors is increasing enough to develop something new. (Hopeful thinking).

Nice to see you Lori. Are you going to try some?

I went to the site. One resembles Boba's Bounty, the other is straight Cinnamon.

Thats my version of Hi all. :)

Ok....I think I'm getting closer to ready for a Kayfun/Russian/Ithaka.

Most people know I prefer buying from the local B&M, even if it means spending a few more bucks. I'm not worried about that. No shipping charge, and I can take it home with me...no waiting on vapemail :D

They have an EHPro Kayfun Lite, but I don't think it's the Lite+, which I think I would want.

For the Kayfun 3.1, they have the Svoemestro (authentic, right?) and the EHpro (clone?).

The EHPro comes with a coil in it and 2 more (not worried about that since I'm pretty comfortable with making coils, but it would be convenient). It also reads like it can handle 510 drip tips without an adapter.

For the Svoemestro, it's just the RBA. Not even a prebuilt coil/wick. Again, not an issue since I've found I like building :)

To make things even more difficult, they've even got a Russian 91% (Tobeco), a couple different Taifuns, and 2 different Ithaka/Ithica clones. Arrrrgggg!!!

Did you try them out to see which you liked best?

Shari, don't let the Russian and all it's parts intimidate you. You don't have to take every piece apart each time you rewick or rebuild. The tank can stay together, and you can leave the top on, too, if you're just rewicking and not changing flavors. Once you get going you'll find it's not as difficult as it seems.

When I got it Saturday and took it out of the box and looked at the tiny piece of paper with all the pieces lined up I got a flush of fear run through my body. And it stayed there. The thing weighs a ton. It is beautiful.

I will take it apart and wash it and build a coil for it this weekend. Want to know how intimidated I am? I am thinking that I have 8 or 10 glasses that I can put vodka in and line up the glasses just like in the picture in the correct order so that I do not forget how to put it back together. I am seriously considering this. I swear I dreamed about all the pieces in one container and that even after watching 6 or 8 videos I could not put it back together.

I have Russian issues.....

Thank you for that important piece of information. I am gun shy. The first hint of any cinnamon or spice sends me running in the other direction. It is so ingrained in me now that I do not think my brain or tastebuds would accept it.

This info may help others that do not have my cinnamon problem. It is good to know that the vendor was so forthright and detailed with you. That is unusual, I think.

Be careful on the one that is marked Svoemestro. Check on Fasttech for all the Kayfuns and lites. There are several. I may be remembering wrong but I thought one of them had the S name on it. If so, you need to make sure the one at the B&M is real so you do not way overpay.

I bought my Russian 91% through a coop where I know the guy who ran it and he got it straight from the factory. There are so many Kayfuns and clones out there I would not know where to start. Some say the clones are fine, others not so much. I also have read posts here where some of the clones had chrome plated brass stuff and there were burrs in the chamber and other similar stories. Once you do your research I would go for it.

There. I think I made that clear as mud for you.

Thanks Shari, I really appreciate that.

The shop's website isn't super accurate on their descriptions, and people haven't been leaving reviews on the actual purchases (me included), so it's hard to tell what they really have. Everything I've gotten from them so far has been great quality and exactly as described though. Every single time, if the staffer I was working with didn't know everything about what I was getting into, they called somebody else to the counter to help.

I think I'll spend some serious time with them and tear down each one to check for machining issues and flaws before I buy. So far, it's been under $30 and heavily researched, so I knew what I wanted when I walked through the door. I'm looking at breaking the $50 mark, so I want to make sure it's something good.

I've got a few all day VAPES, time to find the all day DEVICE...something has to be more enticing and help with 1 less analog! :)

*Edit: The website lists it as Sveomestro, but you're right. It could be a mirror clone. I'll keep an eye on the packaging as well. Price is ~ $10 difference.

You will not be getting a real Kayfun or Russian for under around $90. Go check out Vaperev.com. My understanding is that they have the real thing. Also Cloud9 in the UK. Also, log onto the Svoem. site directly; I am pretty sure there is a translation button on the site. Look at the real thing and read about it.

For the $50 range, you are not going to get a real one of either. You now need to really check all the feedback on the clones. There are definite quality differences with each clone and version. I have read that Svoem. has stopped making the Kayfun 3.1 ES. The Russian 91% I have is made by Kebo and is the new V2. I do not even know what that means. There are so many variables.

Thanks Shari, I really appreciate that.

i still have yet to build my russian.

got tracking on my contest win this morning. afterwards i was asked what batteries i have. my 18650 batteries are high capacity for my evic.. not high drain. so i need high drain batteries for it.

they built the atty for me, its at .6 ohms. i havent used anything that low before. will be interesting. will be using it on my k100 with my 18500 high drain battery since i can handle the amp draw (my 18650 only goes to 4.7 amps) of about 7 amps on a full battery.
Congrats on winin the contest!

I have heightened senses. I can't walk near any lotion aisle without getting a headache from the smells. Or animal food aisles (not as bad). Worst offenders are hair spray, perfume/deodorant, and laundry aisles.
