Our friend is a sweetheart. But he is very rigid in his ideas and desire to try new things. He also is illiterate so I have to be careful on how I explain and teach things to him. He is worth the time. I do not believe that he understands how ill he is. He thinks doctors are going to give him a few pills and put stents in his calf blood vessels and he will be back to normal. No, they are trying to save his feet for a bit longer. Same with the oxygen. He won't use it when out and then wonders why he is so tired and yawning after a couple of hours. Well, he is not getting enough O2 to keep his blood oxygenated. Tried to explain it to him for last month or so and he still does not get it. Or is refusing to accept it. Breaks my heart. But I keep trying, without nagging. The not nagging about this is a job for me. It takes tack and thinking about what and how I am going to say things. DH and I watch him leave after a visit and sit and wring our hands. We can't really DO anything.

I have a friend like that, he thought the idea of ecigarettes was cool but didn't know how to get started with them or anything about them. He came and asked my wife and I because we might give him crap for being ignorant but he would feel less stupid than asking a stranger.

Now he is using a small and cheap ego-style set up from a gas station and has even cut back on his chewing tobacco use since he started vaping.

He watched me working on my first dual-coil nano build last night after he got to try a low ohm dripper and wanted to know how hard it would be for me to build it for him (and do all the maintenance lol) he is pretty much all thumbs.

He is similar to your friend, several health problems and is slowly working on them. At one point he was over 400lbs and is starting to get to a more manageable weight.

He still thinks that drippers are too much work and that he wouldn't be able to keep up with the maintenance without messing them up, but he is quite happy to take the juice my wife and I don't like and give us back the bottles for diy, so I don't mind helping him out from time to time.

Best of luck with your friend and I hope your vaper's tongue clears up soon!

I understand, I am glad to hear that your friend is working on things even if it is slowly. The friend in my case is just unbelievably hard headed and can't believe anything until you beat it into his head, I hope yours isn't quite as much of a hand full.

I hope things get better for your friend and that it gets easier.

I have been working on my friend since I started vaping back at the end of June 2013. He has tried taking a puff here and there off my Spinner with 510 atty when I talk up a new flavor. He has coughed up a lung each time. So his interest is over 7 months in the making and is a fleeting thing. Like a butterfly.

This time he mentioned it to me. So there is more hope on my part and interest on his. We will take it slow and I will try to gently steer once the ball is in play.

My vapers tongue is still there. But I did notice that I am not drinking as much water as I thought I was. So, back to trying to drown myself. I get involved in reading and researching stuff and forget to drink. So this bout is my fault.

OOOOOHHH ME LIKEY!! Where did you get it? Does it come in other colors?

I got my tax refund (insert dancing fruit of your choice here) and ordered up about 80 mls of Aroma WTA liquid of different strengths and flavors. Some old faves and a couple new ones just for kicks. Still smoking one to five cigarettes a week, that I'm borrowing from friends and coworkers. Time to put some brakes on that slippery slope. Please let this work as well now as it did last year!! Also placed a FT order for a new Vamo V5 and some more MT3's and coil heads. Stalking the mailman, begin!!

Had a productive weekend, glad that DHEC will not shut my house down for being a health hazard. Got in a large grocery-shop and DD and I made "kimbap" which is a LOAD of work but so tasty. Have some errands to run on lunch today.

Hope you're all having a fabulous day!!

I hope you report back on the WTA flavors you get from Aroma. Do you find any difference in the WTA from different vendors? I'm still letting my last order of WTA steep ... not sure what I'm going to do with it/mix it with, if the lemon flavor doesn't go away, as I pretty much hate vaping fruit flavors.

At the risk of repeating myself, OOOOHHHH ME LIKEY!! Where did you get it, does it come in different colors?:lol::lol: I need one of those, too!

I didn't want the unflavored this time, so I went with Aroma. I love the RY4 and the Dark Honey Tobacco and the Snickerdoodle, I tried the 555 for the 1st time and they have a couple new ones that sound pretty good also. I SO hate to spend that kind of money on liquid (I make my own for pennies!!) but I hate even more to go back to smoking a pack a day. Crossing my fingers it works. . .

I love the pirate!! That's kind of steep though I would probably pay $25 for it. Mainly for the phone/ipods while out and about. . .
